For the sake of optimization instead of casting to the first person character off the update animation node in the animation blueprint, do it on a node called "Event Blueprint Begin Play", you'll have to make one. You would then promote the character to a variable that you would use instead. This is because otherwise every time the animation updates it will cast to that character which would be less optimized for performance.

How do you interrupt the locomotion with the mining/attack animation? Default slot with animation montages do not appear to be working for me.

Hey virtus I saw your endless runner tutorial series it was a good video but i wanted to know that how can I set so that some of the obstacles can move like in Subway surfer some trains can move and some remain at a fixed point. I know how to make the objects move but im facing the problem that they are at some point overlapping with fixed obstacles can you make a video on that how can I prevent this to happen

The animation glitch you speak of does seem to affect my game preview when I hit play. The pickaxe is always where it is supposed to be, but the right hand likes to spaz out and fly up when switching between the walking and running animation. Not sure if there are any differences between the video's build and mine, might have to redo it.

Like others, the pickaxerunaloop animation is glitchy for me. It persists in the game,and it is only the running animation that is messed up. Is there a fix for this? I supported your page by paying the $25 for the full course, and I have to say i'm a bit disappointed to find that this glitch has not been fixed and addressed. Any plans to update your animation file ?

Hi Avenganmenu, you're right we have been getting a lot of complaints about the running animation. Unfortunately, at the moment we are discontinuing the survival course so we can focus our efforts on finishing the FPS course and delivering the highest quality tutorials possible. With that being said, you should have received a refund for your purchase. If not, let us know in the Discord and we will sort this out for you as soon as possible. Hope this helps.

Not really, if you can use ue4 you'll be able to use ue5
