My friend- let me just say. I have been searching long and high for a video like this for the last 6 months. You absolutely nailed this video beyond what i would ever expect. You covered every single aspect of zero build movement that anyone could ask for. The zero build community is growing and its been a shame that “movement” so far has been localised towards the builds mode only- that is- until now. You will be the first to start a movement here - excuse the pun- for players looking to improve every aspect of their zero build performance. Im an ex apex pro who made the move to fortnite 6 months ago. Ive absolutely dominated the zero build scene largely because i can move and aim better than most players. This is something which is huge in the apex scene but has not been a figure of talk in fortnite so far. I commend you sir. Suscribed and hope to see more and more of you.

T Y !! Thank you so much my friend for those kind words. I had felt the same - people just weren't talking about Zero Build movement, as if it didn't exist. Frustrated by the lack of guides on it, I decided to make the video myself haha. I'd estimate Zero Build movement mechanics are 25% of the pie chart of what makes a player's skill in this mode - it just can't be overlooked!

Coming back to Fortnite to play Zero build, I definitely felt like what was missing from other video tutorials was the importance of movement. I could care less about pre-fight setup or getting the drop on people, when I could instead have such confidence in movement in order to come out on top even in such scenarios by using my movement and environment to my advantage. I will make sure to practice this and look for such mobility aspects in other games too, so thank you very much for this video.
@TobyWanShinobi Жыл бұрын
Best of luck my friend, but I would advise you to ALWAYS put positioning and other advantages above your movement. If you run into another cracked player and you try to pull crazy moves on them, there is a good chance it doesn't work if they are playing smart cover, etc. This stuff is mostly reserved for 50/50 fights or when you can't get an advantage. So definitely worth learning and can win you a lot of fights, but it's also a risk if you miss a shot, etc.

Another tip for stamina management. (For PC anyways) when you are out of stamina or very low. You can force slide. Force sliding will refill your stamina so long as you don’t jump out of the slide during the refill. Doing so seems to cancel the refill. In order to force slide simply hold the crouch button while moving but not sprinting. (Easy when you’re out of stamina. As you cannot sprint anyways.) So when traveling I almost always slide and jump out of slides. I try to refrain from jumping or running as it wastes stamina rather quickly.
@TobyWanShinobi Жыл бұрын
Yep! I think I covered that at 13:29 , but maybe didn't make it quite clear what I meant. I actually just recently discovered that in a foot race it's faster to spam sprint slide repeatedly. Just raced my wife like 10 times and it was much better than sprinting, waiting for stamina and sprinting again - even on flat ground. The slide is nearly as fast as sprint on flat ground so you basically use half the stamina with just as much speed.
@vlonevaro9098 Жыл бұрын
@@TobyWanShinobi what I was saying is that if you do use all of your stamina. You can force slide and it refills your stamina. No wait time.

@@TobyWanShinobi, I just discovered a good way for the average Fortnite player like me to better incorporate the movement guides and strategy guides you made! As i said I struggled to incorporate those movements and strategy from ur vids into actual BR gameplay (after practicing in blue/red also) but if u go into creative and create the default BR island and tweek some settings you can play against all bot teams of any size you want on the current map of the season. You can make it as low-risk as possible tweaking unlimited health settings, respawns etc. This helped me tons to incorporate your strategy guides and my practiced movement skills in Blue v. Red and bring them to actual BR gameplay. Its like a good middle step, from red v blue, to a BR-game with bots and than to actual BR games. The low risk of this middle steps gives you time to spot those right-hand peeks and corners and situations where you wanna use certain movements or re-positioning without instantly dying if you have to think a lil longer on what would be a good strategy or move since these bots probs won’t kill you. After a while you’ll automise those decisions and situation assessments faster, you react faster, move faster etc. and it won’t take as much time as actual BR games to learn cause u wont die while at the same time the gameplay is way closer to an actual BR game than red/blue or other creative practice maps are. BR games are ofcourse way more difficult so u still gotta play n practice there but its still a faster way of learning than only practice in red/blue and real BR games. I just tweeked my island settings in a way that makes the storm faster and u fight teams of 4, have the items u wants, unlimited heals and utility etc (practicing shockwave grenades now wich is great) So there is enough action and the games don’t last too long, perfect for the average players that want to get better like me, and your target audience i guess? Give it as a tip in your movement/strategy video if you want, it improved me miles in a week. The only annoying thing from that creative island is that the right settings are not that easy to set n tweek and it takes some time n googling to understand, but if you want you can copy my island settings, there perfect for the average players trying to get better. I don’t know know how to publish and tbh don’t want to invest the time in it, but if u want I can share the island with you (think there’s an option for sharing or copying an island from another player, and than you can tweek it afterwards to how you want it, not sure though) and if u want u can publish it or give it as a tip so that others trying to get better can enjoy it too! Greetings from Amsterdam ✌️

@Sam v.G nice Sam! Funny cuz I was just doing this yesterday with shockwaves haha... since you can't do augments in creative. I was messing with soaring sprints and shockwaves (crazy combo)

What an excellent video! KZbin recommended me this numerous times but I kept ignoring it as the thumbnail looked like a different game, not Fortnite! Very glad I clicked on it now 👍👍👍

1 other advanced technique is doing gyro aiming in the Nintendo Switch handheld mode. Even I'm only 30fps, but I can eliminate 7 - 10 peoples per game with 60fps or 120fps player in Fortnite Zero Build

this was great. as a kbm ZB player i am absolutely struggling against half decent aim assist players, these techniques will surely help. I think remaking this video with any updates or polish would be just great for players like myself. From my POV, Aim Assist is a broken mechanic balanced for upper tier players. Those of us at mid tier and below are getting unfairly farmed. Your techniques are our best hope besides just getting gud at hitting headshots without aim assist or cheats. Thanks, hope the finds you well.

I am a very aggressive zero build player and it's really fun and easy I've downed millions of sweats but another tip I will give is Slap juices are your best friends in this game mode especially if you are an aggressive player and you also need to be a good escape artist as well
