I agree with you about Lil Wayne and although I'm not a Ke$ha fan either, there's something I'd like to point out. She re-released a few of her songs last year without autotune. I think the EP is called "Ke$ha Deconstructed." These versions of the songs have a totally different feel. Is she as talented as any of the members of Pentatonix? I strongly doubt it. What's my point? I think that if she chooses to, she may have potential to someday become a "real artiste," so maybe we shouldn't write her off so quickly

I watched them live when The Sing Off aired and remember wishing and praying that they would find success when the show ended, because nobody was watching The Sing Off and they were incredibly innovative and talented back in 2012. A few months after, when their label dropped them from the contract they won on the tv show, I remember watching this video when they created their youtube channel, gasping knowing immediately that they had struck gold, and running around my house showing everyone this cover. It immediately went viral, the next few went viral, and they were off and never looked back. Beautiful, addictive, irreplicable alchemy. Thanks for the many years of joy.

I too miss it when they were like this. this video brings back the time when they were just doing a cover infront of a camera, not cameras everywhere and edits were everywhere.

Kay Nine Because of the physics of singing deeply, it's difficult for him to get much volume when singing bass. The deeper the tone you are making, the larger your throat has to be held open and the more air it takes to vibrate your vocal cords. It also means you can't hold the note as long as your lungs only start with just so much air. :)
