Movie BOX SET collection 2023

Cool Warriors box man. I've not delved into Imprint yet... might have to check out a few of their releases. Anyway great stuff... I have a few of those boxes myself. And I do consider the single-movie releases to be box sets. I love those chunky boxes! When it comes to limited edition packaging, I almost always tend to prefer releases that have rigid outer slipcases over steelbooks (unless, of course, the release gives us the best of both worlds). BTW that T2 prop is killer! I wasn't even aware of that release (I only got back into collecting a few years ago -- and the more collectible stuff only in the last 2 years). I'm guessing that would be pretty pricey on the secondary market now. Very cool collection man.

Imprint can be a bit pricey but so worth it if I were to try and get a complete set of anything it would be Imprint. I figured I had stuff no one ever sees I’ve been collecting movies since the 90s still have tons of VHS. For only collecting a few years you have a great collection. I dragged my feet on boxsets for a long time so tons of cool stuff I missed out on, I would love to get the Alien set with the giant Xenomorph head or the Terminator head but for the most part happy with what I have the prices are crazy now. I do enjoy the premium packaging I’ve sold so many boring standard releases to upgrade but now I have a heavy focus on boutique labels. Thanks watching!

​@@80sMadeConsumer Thanks man! I've been collecting physical in one form or another for probably close to 40 years. I just took a long hiatus for the better part of a decade where I didn't collect any films at all (this happened after I'd been collecting blu rays for a few years). But then a few years ago, I upgraded the TV/system to 4K, and that's what kind of got me back into collecting and renewed my interest in a big way. Although I will say, I've never been nearly as passionate about collecting as I am now. When I look back in retrospect now, I feel like I was a much more "casual" and less-informed collector back in the day with DVDs and blu-rays LOL (although I've always been pretty passionate about music and collecting CDs). Anyway, yeah I'm a big fan of the boutiques too... These days, I tend to be more interested in what they're doing than I am with the major studios.

I have that T2 4K set with the endoskeleton. It's my favorite movie and one of my prized possessions.

Mine too it was a struggle to get and now it’s extremely overpriced on eBay. Something I’ll never part with.

great collection of box sets the favorite would have to be the die hard one, cause of the nakatomi housing for the movies the police academy set is cool too the replica of the endoarm for t2 is cool

Some cool sets. I’ve always liked the look of the Friday the 13th set, but am just not keen on watching most of the sequels. Haven’t seen that Labyrinth one, fun. Envious of the Walter Hill set, Imprint is expensive here. And that Terminator arm looks great

Until I found this set I only owned the 1st one on Blu-ray I almost never watch the sequels. If you stumble across it cheaply I’d say get it. I think I lucked out with the Labyrinth one not sure how rare it is but I never see it. Imprint is very expensive here as well but I’ve put more focus in finding more used movies put more resources into Imprint. That’s one company I’d try hard to get the complete collection and after you mentioned Extreme Prejudice I had to pull the trigger. That Terminator arm was hard to get when it was new had it on preorder the day before it was supposed to ship they cancelled it when I asked why they said it had over sold but I’d be able to try later when they got more I went through that whole process 4 times and 6 months before I finally got one. Don’t remember it being overly expensive but now it goes for silly money, it’s something I would only part with if they made a real metal replica.

Are you going to upgrade your Indiana Jones 4 movie box-set to the New Indiana Jones 5 movie box-set, when it comes out?

Doubt that I would, maybe just pick up that title really depends on everything it comes with. The Dial of Destiny felt more like a TV movie to me, and while I don’t really hate it not sure how often I’d revisit it.
