I've never been able to figure out the layout of RLM's studio. To me it seems like an endless labyrinth of rooms filled with shelves, shelves filled with every oddity put to film...I imagine if someone were to stumble upon this place they would find themselves hopelessly lost, desperate to find the way they came in. Every time they encounter a door they pray it's an exit, only to find another room of shelves stocked exclusively with Nukie. Eventually they would begin to succumb from starvation or exposure, and the last thing they hear before entering the void is Mike Stoklasa's sinister cackle.

Unlike MST3K there's no network to sell them off or start imposing stupid rules on them, like demanding plot arcs and storylines, changing their schedule around. There's no cancellations, no selling out, no pressure to go mainstream and alienate the current audience while chasing one that was never going to care, no chaining oneself to the almighty algorithms, just a bunch of friends hanging out together and making fun of bad movies.

I have all my movies in my basement. What started out as a place where I said "Oh, this will be more than big enough to handle my collection," quickly shrunk in size and is now bursting at the seams.
