yes the ending clearly suggests Evelyn could still hear and experience all the other universes, but she chooses to be present in this one. Also, a minor detail: when Deidre asked Evelyn the same question in the beginning of the movie, Evelyn replied "I'm paying attention", while she said "sorry, what did you say?" instead in the ending. which may suggests Evelyn isn't so hard on herself anymore about her failures and shortcomings. One more tiny detail: All thru the film Deidre called Evelyn "Mrs Wang", but in the ending she called her "Evelyn". I don't think they're friends but at least they're on a first-name basis by the end of the movie.

Yes. Though it is also reflecting ADHD according to the directors, one of who was diagnosed with it after, when starting the research on this movie, he realized that all the symptoms matched challenges he's had all his life.

This movie deserves every bit of recognition that it could get. the acting, the soundtrack, the costumes, the writing and the editing all mix perfectly. so good man 10/10 would recommend

The Alphaverse people are trying to let Jobu go into the bagel because she’s killing herself. That’s what they want her to do. They’re not really helping her, they’re letting her get rid of herself because she’s been terrorizing the entire multiverse

Has it made it to #1 yet? The Wizard of Oz held tenaciously to its 4-decade long tenure as my #1, but succumbed to EEAAO somewhere around my 20th viewing.

I think Everlyn still have to power to acces every multiverse, but like she said she will always choose to stay around her family despite she wasn't happy with her life & family dreaming more of her other life at the start of the movie, different is now she finally aware how much important her family are to her, and she is now proud of herself, stop trying to control her daughter but support and always be there for her.

i think the ending is insisting that all the 'noise' is still there, the only difference is that it doesn't overwhelm her as much or distract her for very long, since she is not relying on some other possibility for her happiness at the very least, her new perspective seems to nullify the fear she once had towards all the noise

Best movie I’ve watched in a long time. Ps. You’re very insightful and observant, some things I missed despite having watched this so many times. Eg the security guard death by dildo but got powered up with the buttplug.

It originally was, but it kept getting hit with Copyright Claims, blocking it from being seen. It was re-edited about 5 times before it was accepted. About a minute was cut each time it was re-edited. They still claimed it after a few hours, but at least it can still be viewed. Except in Germany and Austria for some reason. Haha
