One of the very subtle touches...early on, Sean addresses Will as 'Chief' or 'Sport', casual nicknames...later he addresses him by name as Will, or, more tellingly (and genuinely) as 'son'. Imagine how healing that word is to hear from a man who not only personally understands being physically abused by one's father, but has earned a father figure role in Will's life and owns that end of this relationship dynamic...surely the only worthy father figure Will's ever encountered in his life.

I caught that, I actually mention the nicknames on the full reaction

Sean’s monologue on the bench, chuckie’s monologue at the end and “it’s not your fault” are 3 great scenes in cinemas

Robin Williams is a legend! If you do a marathon, check out "What Dreams May Come", its HEAVY, but I remember it being a great film. I may rewatch it myself.

A highly underrated Robbin William movie is "Jack" it's very good and also deals with serious theme's today people just ignore and act like aren't present.

I miss Robin as well. You should watch him in, "Dead Poets Society" Powerful teacher we all desire

LMAOOOO....I LOVE how YOU said the apples line long before you saw the set up! You did some of that premonition stuff in Gump, too. LOVED IT!

My cousin met Robin Williams, when he was hired just to spread the frosting on the cake for Mrs.Doubtfire, for that scene where Mrs.Doubtfire smashes her face into the cake.

THAT HAD TO BE EPIC, just to be in his presence had to be amazing lol

22:46 If you noticed, Sean reads Will, in this scene, almost exactly the same way Will reads the other dude at the Harvard bar, talking about how we dropped 10 grand on an education he could have got for a dollar-fifty in late charges at the public library.

Tbh I was never the biggest fan of Robin Williams' comedy (guess I sort of missed the whole Mork and Mindy craze). But he's a brilliant actor, and I've always been sort of blown away by his more serious roles. Even Mrs. Doubtfire, where he's basically just playing himself, and constantly spitting jokes, he can still pull off the angry and heartbroken scenes surprisingly well. My favorite comedy with him is still Death to Smoochy. It's pretty outrageous compared to Mrs. Doubtfire, but it's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and he's an absolute force of nature in it.

6:08 dude in the front IS in 2 Fast 2 Furious. His name is Cole Hauser. He also played the Neo Nazi leader in Higher Learning. Dude in the back is Ben Affleck's younger brother Casey.
@danae81128 ай бұрын
Cole Hauser is currently on the show Yellowstone, also.

The Birdcage is another look into the many facets of RW's acting range, and very funny.

Deadass one of the best movies with Robin williams, knowing he improved some parts in this movie is amazing how great an artist he was like the scene where they talking and he say his wife used to fart in her sleep that was all Robin doing improv
@brandonmartin088 ай бұрын
The guy in the back is Casey Affleck (Ben’s younger brother) and the redhead dude is Cole Houser and he was indeed in one of the fast/furious movies.

If you DO do a Robin Williams marathon, here are his greatest hits: Good Will Hunting (check), Dead Poet Society, Mrs. Doubtfire, Awakenings, The Birdcage, Jumanji, Good Morning Vietnam, The Fisher King, Insomnia. And a couple "hipster" choices -- One Hour Photo (my personal favorite which nobody reacts to, probably because it's very dark), and Being Human.
@roccodormarunno96627 ай бұрын
Some of his best work was his stand up comedy in the beginning before all the movies.

The other guy is Casey affleck
@anthonyguadagnino26818 ай бұрын
Interesting, Spielberg wanted to cast a relative unknown up and coming actor in Damon for saving private Ryan. Unfortunately Damon and affleck wrote this and released it before Spielberg released SPR

Hey there Greg, I just discovered you today, when I watched your Forrest Gump reaction. That movie and this one are 2 of the main movies I use to gauge reactors. So far, I'm enjoying what I see, I just have one little request/suggestion...I know it's difficult to dodge the "YT police" (copyrights) but, if possible, try not to jump so far between clips. I kept looking forward to seeing your reaction to certain lines but they got cut. 😐😉

Often over looked: "The World According to Garp" one of Robin Williams first films. With John Ligthow and Glenn Close. Good flick! Funny. Also "The Fisher King" (Williams nominated for best actor Oscar, won the Golden Globe). "Awakenings"

The joke wasn't "Give us some kids." She looked up, spitting her drink saying, "Give us a kiss!". A lot grosser punchline. Just thought you needed to know 😂 Thanks for the video!
@TheRealMovieManGreg8 ай бұрын
Yeah I caught that lmao, in my full reaction I left that part in there saying I think her gross ass said she wanted a kiss lmao

New subscriber request 😎 Death to Smoochy would be fire! Robin Williams is amazing and it's a very different role for him. One Hour Photo was really good too but I'm not sure it'd be great for a reaction. You should check these two out though, RIP, Robin Williams.

Robin Williams suicide happened because of mental illness that had begun it was a form of Alzheimer's like disease the name escapes me, but it wasn't from typical depression issues.
@danae81128 ай бұрын
Lewy Body dementia.
@radicalreactions16337 ай бұрын
It wasn't a MENTAL illness, it was a MEDICAL condition called "Lewy Body Dementia." Depression is MENTAL illness, and depression is a part of Lewy Body, along with paranoia, body ticks, sleeplessness, etc. The symptoms are a pretty long list.
