Movie Review: Revanche (2008)

I just finished watching this movie, searched out and found your review. I was enthralled with this movie, I cared about all the characters and I thought the climatic scene at the pond was superbly done. I had a discussion earlier in the day with my son about the movie _The Master_, that while excellently crafted with wonderful performances, went nowhere with regard to a compelling story or character arc. _Revanche_ tells a story, is not just eye candy, and isn't that the whole point? Thanks, man!

+alachabre I am so glad you enjoyed this film as much as I did! Check out Spielmann's other picture, *Antares*, which is not as polished (understandably) but has similar structure and tonal sensibilities.
