I have 2 sets of these! 1 set carded hanging with my collections and other set is opened with my loose figures on my shelf. I grew up as a kid in the 90s and these were always my favorite versions of the Ninja Turtles. Raph is still my all time favorite turtle. Happy to finally have a complete set of the movie ones now. I just got all of the Storage Shell Turtles as well as Master Shredder, Krang and Rocksteady! Still on the hunt for Bebop the Foot Soldier and Master Splinter to complete that retro wave.

Did you see that there is also april, splinter, mondo gecko, leather head, Baxter stockman, ray filet, ghengis frog, and wingnut. As well as they re released the movie star super shredder, tokka, rahzar, movie foot soldier, and movie splinter but the movie splinter is NOT the same as the 91 figure

@@mattmaverick703 I was able to score the movie villian pack on ebay at a decent price. Then I found the movie star turtle bundle so now I have 2 super shredders :/ and I had already picked up the 4 movie turtles from target. So now I have the 4 movie turtles extra too. But ill say that I'm glad I got the 4 from target because the box sets quality is lowww. I left the four from the set in the box and display the target figures. I wish you the best luck! BTW they also released the sewer sports 4 pack, toon turtles 4 pack, and also the sewer heros 4 pack. All on vintage looking cards like the rest. I would advise against the "classic villian cohorts" pack as thier cards and blisters are different.

I just got all 4 of these on moday. Ive been trying to find the original rubber tmnt line that came out in 91 but cant find them anywhere so I'm settling for these

Just picked these up today (I live in the UK so they’ve taken a while to show up in stores over here). I had Leo as a kid and loved the figure so really pleased to finally get all 4 carded all these years later. I’ve heard the criticisms about the figure quality, but I’ll keep mine carded so not really bothered. The look great mint on card.

I Have the original Ralph and it's belt is way to tight where if it pops off it's hell putting back on it won't buckle in the front so a little bit lose is okay with me

Glad to see the Raph isn't that pale green like all the re-releases have been, it's definitely a step in the right direction. I can also say that seeing the white peg was an issue with the original figures too.

While NECA made the definitive TMNT movie figures, I always liked this version of Playmates and they were done well. And them being re-released I will consider buying!

I put a small spot of super glue on the belts and it worked great

Just bought the Leo figure. I really like it. I had the original years ago, but God only knows what happened to it. I wish they'd re-release a Super Shredder figure. Loved that one as a kid!

OMG, this is version i had, Donatello! Wanted to have all four of them. Im searching whole week to find out what version i had. Lost Donnie when i was playing outside, had him only couple weeks and i never get any other turtle for years lol.

Good review. I did have the original as a kid. I don't remember seeing the arm joints. The paint apps looked different as well.

I bought 4 turtles and shredder Splinter cool figures , you keep mentioning about moulds, all 80s figures did the same, in my opinion new ones are far more realistic old ones look like they had a stroke

The spots on the turtles look like they've been riddled with bullets. They didn't look like that in the movie. Because of that this is an easy pass. Yes they have blackened spots in the movie. It looked natural.

I saw all 4 of these about a week or two ago at my Walmart. As much as I would love to collect all of the Playmates TMNT toys for my son, I think these are an easy pass for me. They just don’t look all that great, in my opinion. The spots all over their skin make them look like they suffer from leprosy or something. In the movies, they look natural; but they don’t translate that well on the figures. Mikey actually looks the best out of the bunch. Also not a fan of the weapons racks when there are no other accessories to use separately. I’ll probably stick with the Mutant Mayhem figures.
