A couple of references you missed: In one of the shelves in Guilia's room, there is a wooden doll of Pinocchio, which is an italian children's book by Carlo "Collodi" Lorenzini (from which Disney's animated movie is based on). Speaking of the book, you can see Luca and Guilia read it in the same montage scene with clear pictures of a fox and a cat (the characters that inspired Honest John and Gideon for the movie version).

John Ratzenberger is with Sky Dance Studios for now. As Pixar's former good luck charm, John Ratzenberger was appropriately in the movie Luck, directed by former Pixar director John Lasseter. When asked in an interview why he was in the movie, John Ratzenberger replied, "John Lasseter." John Ratzenberger said that if John Lasseter asked him, he would even cut his grass for him.
