I personally see 3 options for Effies fate at the end of all this: 1 - She pulls a Mecca and sells Noma and the Russians for her freedom. This could lead to her being in witness protection and get a fresh start somewhere no one will find her. This could also mean her dreams of working in robotics is done. 2 - With Anya and Tariq being involved with each other Noma feels betrayed and starts looking at Effie as more of a daughter than just a worker. Effie knows the game and Noma wouldn't have to hide it from her and can be more open with her about the life and what they really do on a day to day basis. Noma ould see Effie as a protege or she could foot the bill for Effies tenure at Stanford. She ships Anya back to school and life returns to normal. 3 - RSJ comes to the rescue. Whether Effie seeks him out for help or their paths cross and he decides to sponsor her to go to Stanford (I dont think he lost all of his money in the ponzi scheme). She gets out the game for good and has a happy ending. If there is any push back from Noma or the Russians maybe we could see RSJs street ties come into play. He could do for her what Ghost did for Julio with the Toros Locos.

The clues have been laid out throughout the series. The last episode is called checkmate. Who have they shown playing chess against Tariq multiple times? Effie. She’s the smartest young female game player in the show. Notice how Riq still turns to her for advice? She’s Riq’s queen. Her & Riq Will checkmate Noma Carter & the Tejadas in the last episode. Diana is getting the baby storyline because this is the end for her character while Effie has been temporarily sidelined but she’s end game. Plus Alix is a genius. Her character is CK’s favorite & 50 is her mentor. She’s blessed. Plus her troll game is great. So her not liking her character ending is cap. I noticed a Instagram post where either Noma or Diana called her the queen. She’s playing the game correctly in real life too. She’ll be in the spinoff with Michael Rainey.

I personally don’t think there’s any way that Effie dies. It’s likely but her character (or more importantly Tariq’s character) I feel is much more likely to end up in prison. Maybe with Tariq as well. Survivors who have nothing left to do but survive. No escape. No way to end it. Just opps. But then again maybe that’s better suited for Cane. Tariq needs to finally beat Effie at her own snake games but I still believe they end up together 🤦🏾‍♂️
