He is very sad he lost her and it’s painful to see her go with another man. The let go pain is the most painful. With a heart and a pain together is just too much. I just want to make you cry. He is holding it inside like a man. That is more painful. he walked away thinking he wont see her again. This good bye thing is the most painful thing in life. When i had to say good bye to my first lover it was very painful. It’s been 25 years i still feel the pain. I thought it would be temporary. But it’s not. It’s a life time for me. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I cry every time I watch this scene - been there and to lose your love of your life to another man can be self-defeating and destructive. She left me for another man while pregnant with our second son I volunteered to be a huey door gunner in Vietnam so someone would shoot me - I wanted to die. She found out and came back to me but I was being controlling and she was very co-dependent. I got my head out later in life and we have been married 52 years - yes Forgiveness is very important in a relationship and be sure to tell her you love her every day and twice on Sunday.

I just wonder if it the reverse, what would happen? as in the guy slept with a rich lady. Once your partner sells out for money (for the other partner), it breaks trust, its not so easy to forget. Maybe true time, ppl come back together after each of them have tried to forget and forgive each other for the mistakes they both made. Cause they were both poor and wanted/needed money badly.

Epic magnifficent movie, taking life, love and forgiveness to extremes, brilliantly showing us normal people doing the unthinkable. The romantic, sad and sensual setting, gives us an opportunity to take stop in life, look around at our lifes, and to enjoy this superb work of art who combines bitter sweet moments such as life offer us every day. Of course, Demi is amazing and lovely, and beautiful: the best one for this film, irreplaceable. Redford an Harrelson also make this movie the hit it was and is. John Barry consolidates everything like the genius he is, giving us nostlagic music that imediatly asociates with this movie. His music in this soundtrack, is to me the best musical score in cinema. This soundtrack is a must for every music lover, and every soundtrack lover. its just the most incredible soundtrack.

This scene magnifies what Letting Go means… I am currently in search of this strength. I’ve seen this movie a thousands times… This scene speaks to those that are currently facing the struggle in 2022. I am here to share your pain. Being emotionally unstable at the VERY end is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone that is in Love. We all make mistakes. Some just make em differently. Find forgiveness in your heart. I can honestly say, I haven’t let go, but I’m trying… Some moments I take 10 steps back.. Then one step forward.. Then I take 9 steps back… then one forward… You get the picture… Pretty soon, it’ll balance out. And at that point is when you’ll realize who you really are. It takes a brave soul to do what his character did, but there was a lesson being taught. Your heart is yours and no one else’s… May you all find peace with Jesus..

In India, 99% marriages are broken only by death. That doesn't mean they are happy throughout marriage. But they treat marriage like a natural relationship like we have with parents and siblings. There are problems but we simply can't break it. For momentary happiness, we should never put any marriage at risk. Only to have regrets later. Just endure little bit until it really means to break. Some of the reasons in West for divorce are simply laughable.

It has to be out of love, only out of true and unconditional love… when it is out of love, you don’t even need a formal agreement called marriage tbh…. In India, right from childhood people are tuned into several customs and practices without even knowing and understanding the actual essence of practise… most of us do it due to several reasons such as religious fear, society image fear, mind is tuned into a way to take it as what it is since childhood etc …

The problem with this story is that she loved the rich guy for what he has but not for who he is. The 2nd type of love goes deeper. The first type is more superficial. This is why she does not look at the rich guy the same way she looks at her ex. The rich guy knows that, and that's why he eventually calls off the relationship at the end.

my takeaway from this movie was the divorce signing. "The things people in love do to each other. They remember. And if they stay together, It's not because they forget. It's because they forgive."

i don't understand why file for divorce than when he signed she is having second thought , i mean she obivously was a gold digger anyway n most importantly give in to another man advances while just been separated from your husband for a while n i don't know about others but her character in this is of a gold digger.

What a bunch of hog wash. Being infatuated with a hot looking person is not love. That's all the movie is about. She's hot, and it's a competition between the two guys as to who gets the trophy. One of the guys is rich. If it were a homely woman, neither guy would give her the time of day. How is that love? We all like eye candy.

Sorry to tell the truth, but money makes a difference. I’m a decent looking guy. Never had issues getting attractive woman. I’m a 8 out of 10. But, I make over $400,000 a year net income. I have two weekend homes. My wife? She’s a 10/10 easy. Now, I’m also a nice guy, kind, etc. So, sure my wife would love me just for me. But...don’t tell me the money doesn’t help. It does. I’m in my 40s and I have women in their late 20s and 30s hit on me due to my success. It is what it is. Life isn’t fair. Never is. Never will be.

True love overcomes everything. The attention that u get is not love and it's just infactuation and temporary just to be throw into dustbin later. But true love covers all boundaries .It is patient,it is kind,it is not selfish,it always trust and it is hopeful and it is forgiveness
