Lost also shot a lot of scenes here. Actually tons of movies and TV use this spot. Why? Hawaii is about the only place in the US to find scenic jungle terrain. It'd probably adds a lot of complications to find a spot outside the country. Honestly it is being overused though, its like any time a production goes to the jungle its the exact place in Hawaii, and many times they are portraying Vietnam, Thailand, etc. Doesn't cut it for me anymore, I want the real thing!!
