I really like the concept of this movie. A zombie outbreak during the 1940s/1950s. Wish there more movies or media like this. Imagine the zombie apocalypse happening in 1942, at the height of World War II.

There is an italian role-playing game called "Sine Requie" where during the Normandy landings, a zombie apolypse erupts in the whole world. WWII ends abruptly, axis formally wins but the world is in such state that doesn't really matter. Countries loose contacts with others and dystopian governments spread: in Germany, the IV Reich, in Italy Sanctum Imperium, in Russia, the Z.A.R.. I highly suggest to look at it. With later expansions, we later discover about what happened to USA, Egypt, Japan.

Play the zombie army games the first 3 games is about during the end of ww2 in Europe Hitler rising a zombie army to win the war which that’s when the Dead War begins, then the Allies won ww2 between the 2nd and 3rd game, the 4th game the dead war still rages on to 1946 and still going on as it left a cliffhanger but the franchise is still going strong
