+Rey it portrayed Peter as an adult though, like every man finding his way. This one reminded you Spiderman is a 15 year old boy to the core still going out risking his life. Toby's Spider-Man to me is what Tom's spiderman will become when he gets older. This one was more true to spiderman as he started a kid. Toby's was more true to him as an adult spiderman.
@JoeyDChosen16 жыл бұрын
Rey you must know nothing of spiderman to say spiderman 2 did the best of Peter parker, yeah spiderman 2 was amazing and its my favorite movie but nothing like how peter Parker really is, this one showed the best of peter parker, he is super smart, created web shooters and the webbing himself as you saw in the classroom scene of him making more webs, he is 15 as he is suppose to be as the cartoons and comics, he gets serious when someone he cares about are in danger, he will get scared well here as he is still starting to be spiderman because he is a kid and he is funny and talks and makes jokes as he fights unless its serious moment he would be really serious but yeah. Tom holland did the best spiderman and peter parker, as i love tobeys spiderman, tom holland did the best of peter parker and spiderman as how spiderman and peter parker should be. Almost all of spiderman comics are of him as kid/teenager in high school. Tobeys spiderman was based of adult spiderman like the spiderman cartoon that would show on Disney XD back in the like 2000 or 2004 or something like that. But spiderman has always been a teenage/kid in high school. And spiderman homecoming delivered it perfectly. My favorite will always be spiderman, i have seen literally every single spiderman series and played all of the games and read a lot of his comics. This is how spiderman is done. Maybe he didnt create his suit but i think they did it like that from tony stark so you dont forget he is with the avengers now, the MCU or you know have a connections with iron man and the other heroes, i didnt mind it that much that he didnt create the actual suit because they wanted to have the classic look but different how its made and who made it so it can be different from the pervious movies to bring something new yet still kept it classic and truly to how he is, which i understand but the rest is spot on how he truly is

They still botched the fuck out of it. The reason these scenes work is because whatever is trapping the hero is a metaphor for all the emotional weight they're burdened by, so when they lift it, it implies they've finally gotten over it. The film tried to do that, but failed terribly. I couldn't give a shit, I knew he would escape then go off to fight the Vulture and get his suit back. This moment could've been the climax of an actual Spider-Man film, not just a scene to be thrown in there for the sake of appeasing fans. Now we will never see it be done justice.

I feel like this truly shows more of Tom's acting abilities than usual. Since his character is normally so pure and full of childlike energy, it's rare to see him so vulnerable. I grew up with Tobey’s Spider-Man as a kid and then in my preteen years I saw the Andrew’s Spider-Man. Both to me showed 2 parts of Spider-Man. Tobey in my opinion only showed Peter Parker being an outcast, a nerd, overall awkward, and having a really crappy life. Garfield showed Peter Parker’s genius, and as Spider-Man his cockiness, incredible agility and movement. Holland’s shows Peter’s awkwardness, him being a dork, a nerd, and most importantly a kid. As Spider-Man he’s very quippy but pure hearted and funny. Tom Hallond to me is the best Spider-Man, and I say this firmly despite his Spider-Man only having 1 stand alone movie.

I think the best way to put it is Peter became Spider-Man, where he fully embraced Spider-Man, like how Tobey did after Uncle Ben died, and how Andrew did after saving that boy from the car, I like to see that as his moment of embracing, because he went from searching for the man that killed his Uncle Ben to going to save someone's son, that's my opinion anyway. This was MCU's peter's moment and like the other Andrew and Tobey, he moved up in his role, learning new things about his place, throughout FFH and finally NWH, where he learnt everything he need to, Such as the quote all three of them learned, With Great Power Come Great Responsibility

Well it's not nice that he's scared like hell and in serious trouble but it was intriguing since those are really rare moments for a superjero movie. How often do they cry for help when they kinda have a reason to do so? Well, we he's still a kid. Who was suddenly thrown in a darker world. Very natural reactions for him and I love that too. Not everyone can be like Capt. America or some other Avenger who tries so hard not to show any weaknesses. But after both of these, Peter calmed down, found strenght to do something about it or accepting an inevitable fate

I was being crushed by all these boxes and I could not move and I was barley able to breath. I remember crying and screaming for help but my parents could not hear. I thought I was going to be buried there until I hear the movie play and it was around the part of Aunt May's speech about there being a hero in all of us and that gave me such a burst of adrenaline and confidence that I was able to push off all the boxes. I dont know why purist hate Tom Holland. Like this isnt Spider Man. You do have to remember he was just a teenager who accidently has his powers. He doesnt know how adult life is. Tom portrayed it perfectly from what is desperation to facing his fears.

This is probably one of the wall crawlers most legendary moments! His true will and determination make him a true hero!

This scene is actually based on " IF THIS BE MY DESTINY " . one of the most iconic comic book moments in spider-man's entire lore .

I always liked how this movie was inspirational, especially this part.

This was probably the most realistic scene. It showed how Peter was just a kid, fearing for his life,not wanting to die under the rubbles. His scream was so painful,it made me cry.

This is the best scene out of all the marvel movies. I don't care what anyone else says. Throughout the movie you see Peter really wanting to be that quickie superhero dude that everyone looks up to and it was when he was absolutely terrified that he didn't care about that anymore. He was a scared kid absolutely afraid

This scene made me uncomfortable in the theater and still does. Powerful acting and powerful scene. Almost made me cry. I MIGHT have cried in the theater though.

this is what I love about Spiderman. he's just a normal kid, yet he still acts like a hero. and that is what makes a true hero.

Honestly Homecoming had its problems but Tom Holland's acting was NOT one of them.

This scene right here. This solidified my position that he is in fact the best Spiderman till date. He's vulnerable, he's scared. But he overcame the fear.

@@liimo-drake3-6-95 he's the best in my opinion, while some people point out that he may not be comic accurate, sometimes being comic accurate for a film adaptation could be bland imo, so things that I love for the mcu movies is that they do their own thing which makes the movie really enjoyable

Those screams from Peter, his broken voice, the panic in his breathing...it's so overwhelming. Remember that he is still a kid, a very young boy. He can't move, he has trouble breathing and there is no one around to help him...but he doesn't give up
