I love this scene. Jimmy always thought everyone was trying to come for him because he was going to Northwestern, like he was a sellout. Nah. They came for him because he bought into his own hype too much. He wasn’t just a smart dude, he was arrogant about it and lorded it over their heads. College education isn’t everything, not ignorant in my eyes. The school system is horrible
@teayabrown39246 жыл бұрын
It's not racist for a company to want one. However, having a college education doesn't matter much. If someone has more experience, an employer is most likely to chose that person. But, we also have think about what time this move is set in. It was a time when black people could rarely get college educations and racism was still high. If he did have a college education, he still probably wouldn't be picked for the job over someone who went to a more distinguished school where black people couldn't go. However, I'm not saying this is an excuse to want a hand out like he wanted. Many black men and women have jumped over extreme hurdles to better their lives. The difference is, they never turned back no matter how daunting the road.

E J, forget going to the Porsche Dealership. I'll go buy me a Truck or a SUV from either Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, or Cadillac. If you was offered a $100,000, how you going to keep up with the payments?
