That statement only makes sense because _"what they look like"_ implies race. But imagine this scenario: you are a police officer in a ex-soviet country and in your area 90%+ of the crimes are committed by gopniks. Of course you would behave different to gopniks than to other people. Same goes for every area in the world - there is always that profile which do the most crimes, and the local police are always aware of it. But why is this scene different? They look exactly like the profile that do most of the crimes in that area. These police acted like pigs. But them assuming those were gangsters made perfect sense. And it's a thin line between ensuring their own safety and acting like pigs. I don't think the police are *alone* in the fault here. Those dudes shouldn't dress like gangsters if they didn't want to be treated as such.

People do not realize how smart you have to be to be a good rapper. All of the greatest rhymers are geniuses. If you breakdown the rhyming scheme of their songs, it’s all perfectly crafted to flow well. You have to be really creative to pull off the linguistic talents they have. Childish Gambino. Biggie Smalls. Tupac. MF DOOM. Wu Tang. Straight Outta Compton. A Tribe Called Quest. Tyler, The Creator. Mobb Deep. Kendrick Lamar. Andre 3000. J. Cole. RAP MUSIC IS ART. Oh, and don’t get me started on producing and sampling. I could talk about that for art style for days.

JorgeAlberto Herrera you know what movie got oscar nominated? Steve Jobs. That movie bombed in theater and still made it to the oscars. This was a good movie, im not even a huge nwa fan but as a biopic it did a great job at showing the classic story of how a young music group can be manipulated by the industry and leeches and how good friends can turn on each other due to fear and confusion and trusting the wrong people. This was an Oscar worthy film.
