@@mikehipparchusnewton7436 Agree, John C. Reily is such an underrated actor, and it frustrates me that he is only known for 3 movies (Talladega Nights (2006), Step Brothers (2008) and Wreck it Ralph) when he also other great movies such as Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Chicago (2002), The Aviator, We Need to Talk About Kevin and many more other great roles. As for my thoughts on Will Ferrell, I'm personally a fan of Will Ferrell I know he can be an acquired taste but performances in movies like Zoolander, Elf, Old School and Anchorman really show he can be a good comedic actor, he even had a really good dramatic role in the fantasy film Stranger than Fiction but as time went on he started staring in movies where he did same man-child schtick in every movie but the only difference being was the setting and motif of the movie.

@@mikehipparchusnewton7436 In the movies without Reilly with Ferrell often are not laugh outloud. Watched Ricky Bobby on Netflix last night, classic dinner table scene, not the Cleaver family but crude humor can be funny when done right

@@mikehipparchusnewton7436 -- Dude, you're OBVIOUSLY Will Ferrell and you're just drunk ragging on John C. Reilly. I can't get over the ego of you Hollywood types. You've made millions of dollars 'acting' (whatever the hell THAT is), but that's STILL not enough for you, and just like in the movie, you ALWAYS have to be #1 -- you can't let John C. Reilly have some fame even ONCE. No no no, you have to show up in the comments section of an obscure KZbin video posting as 'Mike Hippocampus', which btw, is a RIDICULOUS moniker -- I mean who the fuck has a name like that? Everyone knows there's no campus that only hippos go to -- hippos don't even go to school! I can't believe you couldn't have come up with something better than that! Anyhow, just give it a break dude and enjoy your fame, fast cars, fancy women and all the other trappings of Hollywood and stop beating up on poor old John C. Reilly.

John C. Reilly needs to write a book publicly apologizing to Will Ferrell for freeloading (or attempting to freeload) off of Mr. Ferrell's comedic success. He acts as if he's some sort of equal to Mr. Ferrell in comedy when he is not. Sure he has some drama and musical skills but that is unrelated to comedy. He just came on the scene and started doing brief scenes in movies with Mr. Ferrell and acts as if he's been there all along as a comic duo. Some people are a fan of Will Ferrell and think he's excellent at his comedic trade and there are some people who don't think he's funny. Either way he was on SNL for 7 years which is no easy feat and John was on for 0. (If Mr. Ferrell was really that unfunny, he would have been fired.). Mr. Ferrell practically created and definitely co-wrote Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, which has turned into one of the most successful and iconic comic creations of our recent time. John C Reilly had nothing to do with that. The reason Step Brothers was so successful with John Reilly casts was because of the well written script by Mr. Mckay and because of John's appearance, he was believable as an unemployed 40 year old. Besides that, all of the other characters he's played opposite Mr. Ferrell could have been easily replaceable by anyone. I hope the colosal failure of comedy that was Homes and Watson was a big wake up call that Will Ferrell does not "need" John Reilly as a sidekick and they are in no ways "comic equals" or a "duo.". Further proof of this is the highly successful Ron Burgundy podcast that has been highly successful and has an extreme amount of creative wit written by non other than Mr. Ferrell. Additionally look at the collasal failure that was called "Moon base" which has been deemed again, extremely unfunny and of course involves John C Reilly. It's amazing how no one else is openly acknowledging this: That Will Ferrell is and acclaimed and successful comedian weather some individuals like him or not, and John C Reilly has never been successful as a comedian or funny by himself. Yet he still acts as if he's some sort of side kick to Will who's been there the whole time and has had his own comedy. John was originally a B drama actor that was played as a supporting actor in some good quality films. There's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't give him the right to blatantly steal from Will Ferrell and act like he's some sort of comedic genius when he isn't. The person who should be most acknowledging it is John Reilly himself so that he can clear his conscience of basically being a freeloader of Will Ferrell's comedy success. It's truly unsettling that he isn't just left alone to do his own thing and still gets involved in Will Ferrell movies to steal from him. All I can say is that I pray to God that he's not in another one of Will Ferrell's films to steal it (except accurately being casts as a ghost to try and steal his soul.). Also I'm highly looking forward to Anchorman 3 which should be hilarious and thank you Mr. Ferrell for being creative and funny and tolerating those around you who aren't!
