The ‘grace’ scene at dinner in this movie is hard to beat. These two are comedy geniuses when you consider they had a rough outline as a script (Will Ferrell as a NASCAR driver was enough for the studio to green-light the film) and most of Reilly & Ferrell’s scenes are improvised.

It was very nice of grandma to not immediately start with the smack before declaring granny law. This day and age the idea of allowing a child to show remorse or at least an understanding thst they did wrong has gone way to far. I guess anyone who reads my post would understand that I am a late gen x child who would've felt as if they'd committed an ultimate sin for doing what these two kids do in this scene. There was some great work done on this movie, even perhaps unintended, that hopefully will help guide us back to a better time.
