I think this one is done with intent of not recasting for a while, thus the younger actors. He's probably planning on a whole series of movies with the same cast. No one can replace the Cavilrine but I didnt think much of him ether when they announced him being superman because at that stage, i felt no one could replace Christopher reeves. So I've learned to be open minded for new cast. Liam hempsworth as witcher? man thats a hard one to swallow though. lol

I’m with you my childhood has been destroyed with all the bad Superman movies hopefully this is good, but even kryto the dog is the wrong type of dog cause of the director having rescued that little guy smh Henry Cavill was a decent Superman, but damn the movies are not that great and being a DC comic fan and feel as their superhero’s are better, but no directors seem to get those movies right let alone the facts of said characters in these movies, except maybe the woman who directed the Wonder Woman movie which grossed over a billion dollars seemed like the only successful film out of all the others, and oh yeah the Batman films were good, but at least they get the animated movies down right

Reeve forever. I thought Cavil's Superman always had a "I can obliterate you, just because." undertone, which was something Reeve never brought to the character. It was Cavil's Clark Kent that was lacking, imo. With that said, I'm still going to give this one a chance 🙏🏽

I just looked at the comments, I felt the same way about Henry Cavil. But it gives off the vibe that it might be a lil more flashier with action. At least Lois has dark hair this time, and it looks like they got it right with the Robots from The Fortress of Solitude. Mr. Terrific has also made more appearances in the comics especially in the past few years. So I think he will be relevant to the comics, I hope. That guy that played Darwin from the X-Men, that lived for like 2 minutes, is playing Terrific, but he looks to scrawny for the role.

The recent Superman films weren't that great, be honest, and that avengers rip off where they all got together with cyborg, batman and wonder woman etc was absolutely dismal anyway, so by dc's standards, it easily stands a damn good chance of being a lot better. Cavil may have looked the part, but despite his first Superman film, everything else was terrible, so looks aside, I don't see why you're all giving up hope so easily. Trailer seems great.
