This might be acceptable if it were the first adaptation, but this poor series has already been ruined once, they could have tried harder to compensate for that. The main actor does not look like a kid, definitely not young enough for the story. He also doesn't seem like he can act at all, flat stance/delivery every single time he's shown. Doesn't look like he's got the imagination to be filming a fantasy. Better actors around him aren't going to be enough, this is going to be painful to [attempt to] watch. Another streaming service adaptation that just could have been so much better.

The original is only 16 years ago and it looked good enough, no need to do a remake so soon. They could do new movies, new characters, but all they do is a remake and change the skin colour, with that they only get more hate because is obvious they trying to do the same but with black people, and in my opinion is not the right way to do things. Edit: I just read is not a movie, is TV Serie, Disney cancel it last year and now is going to be in Roku Channel in a couple of weeks 😇
