An FYI about the main actor: His name is Robin Williams and he is a comedic acting legend in America. He sadly commited suicide in 2014. Also, another classic Robin Williams movie you girls may enjoy is called "Good Morning, Vietnam!". It's a military comedy with a good amount of drama mixed in. Or maybe........a military drama with a good amount of comedy mixed in!

6:35 "Oh, no. She doesn't love him." Well, it's not that. It's that, for the last 14 years, the lion's share of the responsibilities in the household have been landing on _her_ shoulders. _She's_ the one that has to keep cleaning up _his_ mess. 14 years prior, Miranda and Daniel were very much in love. That's the _starting_ point for a successful life together, though. That's the firm foundation upon which to _build._ Since then, she's been doing much more than her share of the work. He's been slacking off. So now, instead of the question being whether they are still in love, it's whether he is good for this family.

Robin Williams was an incredible actor and a brilliant improv comedic genius. It’s rare to see those in the same person. This movie is one of my favorites. The movie is filmed in SF where he lived and worked before becoming a star. A little Easter egg. The monkey on his show was actually a character (Buster) on a local popular kid television show in SF in the 70’s & 80’s called “Buster and Me”. It dealt with serious topics from a child viewpoint to help them understand. Kind of like Mr Roger’s Neighborhood with monkey puppets. It was wonderful to see Robin bring that special show’s character back in the film for a brief period. Those who lived in the SF Bay Area at the time were surprised to see Buster the monkey again. 😂

Hi Movie Munchies!I want to tell you real quick about Tim Burton's other most-incredible films. Starting with... Pee Wee's Big Adventure: This movie is way too fun and funny, wacky, and unlike anything you've ever seen in all the best ways! Edward Scissorhands: Movie about a guy who has scissors for hands...need I say more? Well okay I will then...it's also got INCREDIBLE heart AND Winona Ryder from Beetlejuice and Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean PLAYS Edward Scissorhands and he is completely unrecognizable. One of the most unique and inventive movies ever made!! Big Fish: It's been a while since I've watched this one but it's so good that it still stands out to me as one of Tim Burton's best films. AND it stars the actor who plays Obi-Wan Kenobi in the lead role! Now, personally, I would avoid MOST of Tim Burton's other movies because for some strange reason he got competely obsessed with just remaking a bunch of classic movies into weird, crappier versions. And having said that, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL MOVIES EVERYWHERE, DO NOT WATCH TIM BURTON'S VERSION OF "CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY" BEFORE WATCHING THE ORIGINAL VERSION FROM 1971 TITLED "WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY"!!!! The original from 1971 is one of my all-time favorite movies, is SOOOO creative, SOOOO fun, and SOOOOO damn good!!!! BUT, Tim Burton's remake version from 2005 is just...weird...and it's just so so sooooo much lamer than the original from 1971. EVEN THOUGH Johnny Depp plays Willy Wonka in Tim Burton's remake, DO NOT WATCH IT FIRST. It would be terrible if you Munchies watched the remake first and basically got the story spoiled for you before you're able to watch the WAY BETTER 1971 original. That's all for now!
