AUGH I watched the new Sabrina both seasons and MAN do I regret watching it 🥴 back when it came out I thought “it’s just a show, it’s not real so it’s harmless” but now that I look back... that show is pure evil y’all. Like you’re pretty much empathizing with these satan worshipping characters and the devil himself without even realizing it. I remember feeling weird like I wasn’t supposed to be watching it as I was watching it. I really regret watching it 🥴 stay away from those kinds of shows y’all

There is so many bad things in entertainment, I used to like watching scary stuff about spirits and paranormal, but now I never watch it because I now know it was wrong! I love Jesus so much!!! I stopped watching Grey’s Anatomy and I loved Grey’s. I just felt convicted. I was trying to break my addiction with lust, porn and masturbation and the sex scenes and relationships on the show kept me in that cycle. When I started guarding my heart from all things sexual on movies and tv, I was able to get control of my urges too. If you’re struggling with lust, let the sexual shows go. ❤️

Can you please give me more insight and explain more of your opinion? I am genuinely interested. I have seen the show and I can see why it sounds bad. Have you seen the show? Because one of the major themes is how people always have a choice. "Like people always say the devil made me do it" which in some cases is true but the devil tempts us and we have a choice to either sin or reject sin. I remember in one episode this character steals money and a demon says something like she's not going to stop her because the more she sins, the more likely she's going to hell. Therefore, we infer that the choice is hers. There are also many times where characters learn from gods lesson. "God works in mysterious ways". There's another character who is Christian and is very religious and throughout the show we see her faith grow. In my opinion, the creators and writters have good intentions and they want to bring a positive message. Maybe certain things could be done differently. I can see why making lucifer the good guy is a problem especially to non Christians. And personally, I believe lucifer in reality is a bad guy and watching the show made me read my bible more. Idk, this is just my opinion. I really want to hear some other peoples opinions because I am really confused. 🤔

WEIRD & RANDOM ENTERTAINMENT I haven’t actually watched the show so I can’t say too much about it but even the summary convicts me it describes Lucifer as a “beautiful and powerful angel” some marketing things I have seen about even go as far as to say “ he is risen” and this show and media praises him, I feel as though in a show like this it’s so easy to get caught up in (like mentioned in the video) rooting for him and while you may feel as though there are some good things, those things don’t out weigh the fact that the show in now way glorifies God, in the end it comes down to conviction I would never recommend this show to anyone but if you do watch it I can’t judge, just make sure it’s not making you question your relationship with the Lord, he wants us to fill our mind with good things and this show doesn’t seem to be to good.

@@XxStarDustXx-i6t your comment made me think of the book by CS Lewis "The Screwtape Letters" that is essentially an uncle demon training his nephew demon on how to attack Christians and gain their souls for hell. It has a sarcastic tone and is melodramatic but it definetly makes you think about day to day decisions that may seem small but lead to sin. However, I stopped reading after the first couple chapters because CS Lewis dedicated this book to Tolkien and I ain't down with that.

As a huge movie/book nerd it can be really hard to follow holiness and not hype. But you’re right it is ABSOLUTELY worth it! Two of the things that are big no go’s I look for in a film/book is graphic sex or satan being portrayed as the good guy. I refuse to support media that could cause me to fall back into sexual sin; and I refuse to support media that glorifies the devil.

Here's how I decide if something is ok to watch or not.. would I watch this if Jesus was sitting next to me? Makes it pretty simple really. I don't watch much TV but when I do its usually cooking/baking shows, competition shows like alone or American ninja warrior or something like that. Like you said, you have to be careful and discerning with bible based shows and kids cartoons and movies as well. So much is not safe for our Christian ears and eyes. We must be careful.

I go by the same rule in my home;- would Jesus watch/listen to/participate in this? If not then it's a no-go. I too was a Lucifer-Walking Dead and other shows fan but as I watched these programs, I noticed that they either became more darkened or started to mock the good ( In the case of Lucifer it was GOD Himself and began empathizing with the devil) and as a long time Christian I got a 'check' in my spirit. I started getting angry against some of the characterizations of GOD and doing the right things and I knew it was time to repent from watching this garbage and change my mental 'channel'. If I end up never watching T.V. again due to this increasing amount of demoralistic/demonic type programming then that's fine;- I have my Bible as a better alternative to fill my thoughts with and keep my eyes on the right things.

I have been a luke-warm Christian for many many years. By God's grace, He has recently called me into a closer walk with Him. Praise God! I used to watch all the shows, no matter how evil they were. But that is over now. A few months ago, I was watching "Rosemarys Baby" and felt the urge to turn it off, but I kept watching. That night, I had the WORST nightmare of my life. I wont go into the details. By God's grace, I will never watch anything evil again. I learned my lesson and am so thankful for the Lord's rebuke. Thank you so much for this video!!! I'm a ex new ager and since childhood I always loved witchcraft movies. Until recently I understood the satanic influence behind it, the witches harvesting life from children (do you guys know about adrenochrome?), the devil worshipping. It can be very sutile sometimes. I'm talking about the movie The Witches and Hocus Pocus. Sabrina is so explicit I don't even dare to watch it. As a sensitive person I prefer to guard my mind. I'm a baby Christian and now it seems like I can see this dark influence everywhere, music, movies. Wow. Ps: Netflix is pushing very weird agendas if you stop to think about it.

For me any show that makes me feel uneasy, guilty, or “dirty” for watching, I will no longer watch. If I have to question whether or not I should be watching it , then I probably shouldn’t be. If it tempts me to sin then I can’t watch it either. Same goes for music. I try to avoid songs about sex, drugs, witchcraft, and excessive cursing. Also if I know the artist of the song practices witchcraft or has new age beliefs I can’t listen to it.

I refuse to watch 365 days, I remember it being really popular at one point, the movie was everywhere, TikTok, insta, twitter, literally everywhere. There was so much hype. My friends watched it as well, so I was contemplating watching it. Then God gave me a dream, and in the dream I was about to watch 365 days, I could feel the spirit of lust starting to attack me, then I heard the Holy Spirit say “DON’T WATCH IT” so I decided not to watch it in the dream. Then I woke up. God basically gave me an answer to a question I never asked him, he knows our hearts. I also want to stay away from movies, tv shows and music that are filled with lustful things too. Because they fill our minds with lustful images and ideas that can creep up from time to time. But through Christ’s blood we can purify our minds. I praise God!

The movie reflects the consequences of lust though! Its not a happy ending (spoiler). I watched it, its messed up in the way it kinda is a modern day beauty and the beast- falling in love with your abuser. I myself wonder if this is pushing for human trafficking since the woman is captured and falls in love with her abuser.

Best show to watch: the chosen ! It’s about Jesus and his disciples life but it especially focuses on the characters and the emotions of the people so that you can actually relate with those people. This show is funny but also heart touching. The stories are based on the scripture, there’s nothing changed of what the Bible says. @leanna I personally don’t watch gossip girl anymore because for me I was personally rooting for Blair and chuck even though they were completely toxic together and in general. They would always break up or get mad at one another after breaking up bc they slept with someone else and I even remember a part where chuck “sold” Blair for his hotel so much goes more into why I don’t watch it but it kept reminding me of wanting someone to “fight” for me like how chuck fights for Blair. Bc in the show it made it convincing for me that you always need someone to fight for your love like “it’s so romantic to always hurt each other but be completely in love and then fight for one another” Very silly if you think about their relationship but I know personally for me I was making up scenarios similar to how chuck fights for Blair..... again really silly but I was in a similar situation with a guy in the past and I caught myself daydreaming well imagine if he fought for me and I remember I would still think about him when clearly I know that mentality was bad. 1 Corinthians 13:4 &5 Love is patient. I had a dream about the Antichrist and Jesus. I was laying in the front row of a white bench seat, near the aisle, in a white vibrant Cathedral style church. There was a woman preacher speaking. She kept glancing over at me while I cried under my blanket. I then saw a little boy, maybe 12, walk down the aisle. He looked kind, sweet and innocent, with blue eyes and blond hair. He was offering me comfort, but it seemed like it came with a price. The crying grew into sobs as I tried to hide myself further into my blanket. As he looked at me, I felt a strong presence and saw a bright white light in the figure of a man sitting Indian style, even though my eyes were closed. As I rested my head in his lap, I sobbed and I knew it wasn’t a burden to him. I was fully engulfed in the presence of him, this light, sobbing without fear of being judged for it. Here is the warning: The little boy, The Antichrist, has had an astounding amount of time to mimic The light, The Christ. It’s hard to tell the difference when you don’t know what to look for. You need to search with all of your heart and soul wide open. Understand that this will put you in the presence of the devil and you will notice that presence, but you need to not be frightened by it when God is in your corner. If you have faith in God, you truly have nothing to fear. We live in a world where you cannot go a single day without being confronted by corruption. Trust Jesus like you would a parachute.

I'm a classical pianist and everytime I have a new piece (chosen by my teacher) I do search it, everything I can find about the author or the motivation for the piece cuz' there are a lot of classical pieces that have dark influences, some of then are named after demons. Has anyone else seen "Us"? The Jordan Peele movie. It wasn't scary, but there was a presence that was so thick in the movie theater it made me wildly uncomfortable and I prayed to God that it didn't follow me home or my friend. I was talking to another friend about it a few months later and she said other people who watched it said the same thing. The movie wasn't scary, but there was an eerie feeling the entire time the film was on screen. So I know I'm not the only one that felt it. **Edit** Thank you for saying being a Christian isn't easy. A lot of people come to God because they think it's the magic golden ticket to never have any problems on Earth ever. And when they see He's not a genie they either get mad or discouraged and leave. There won't be struggles all the time, but the closer we are to God the more Satan is going to try to discourage us and attack us because he wants us to suffer with him. Being a Christian isn't easy, but praise God it'll be worth it in the end. Read Romans 8:18

I never seen the movie and never even heard of it since I don't watch tv that much. But sometimes spirits are attached to movies, music and objects. People put spells and release demons on that stuff. The unprotected and undiscerning will be affected. Spirits will follow you home because they were invited when you watched and listen to their material. I remember I used to love watching A Haunting. I love seeing the people come out victorious at the end after getting some wicked spirit out of their lives. Well, I had to stop watching because I started having bad dreams. Thing was I was not having them at first but eventually I did. I knew it was from watching A Haunting that night. I repented immediately and canceled, rebuked and came out of agreement with what was going on in that dream. The Lord deals with me in dreams. I refuse to have a hard head with the Lord. He will warn you and tell you some way that what you are watching, doing and/or listening to is not ok. We have to protect our eye gates and ear gates. Be in guard. The flesh is weak. The devil is cunning but greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

God can deliver us from things, but if we constantly disobey Him and ignore the red flags He gives us then sometimes we'll suffer more than we need to with trying to get rid of the demons attached to whatever it is. My thoughts are troubled and invaded even now because I did something He told me not to do. And it's hard to control your thoughts. When we repent we really have to try our best to not fall back into old habits. It promotes fighting off evil, but there is cussing and a few biblical references which I'm not sure if it's blasphemy, like there is one scene where one of the characters is fighting off one of the evil creatures with a sling shot, almost like David and Goliath, I don't believe that the writers intended it, but the scene just reminds of it, and it's not making fun of it in any sort of way. It's just hard to tell, I've heard some Christians promoting the show while others call it demonic, what are your thoughts?

The Holy Spirit convicted me of all the stuff I was watching and reading because all those ideas led me astray. I elevated the ideas of the world above God's Word. It hurt, to be honest-but when I questioned the prompting, the scripture I got in return was "If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it out and throw it away..." And I heard in my mind, "This is an amputation. Of course it's going to hurt. But it must be done to save the rest of you." I had no idea how bound I was by entertainment until I had to cut it off. I still feel sad sometimes, but I know it'll work out for my good. I certainly hear God's word more often now.

As a survivor of child abuse, I read the Harry Potter series, they were a comfort. The twins made me laugh, Dumbledore made me cry, especially in the fifth book, where he reveals to harry why they skated around the why of Harry's scar and purpose. That he cared for him, and didn't want to harm him. Yes, I read other books, too, but every year i found myself reading and reminiscing the Harry Potter series. I know the difference between good, evil, hatred, love, witchcraft and wizardry, etc.. for me, it was the friendship between the characters, the bravery, the chivalry, the truth seeking.

Yeah I can't find Harry Potter to be the same kind of disturbing as Supernatural, for example. In the last book there were even direct Christian parallels. I view Harry Potter as a fantasy series. The universe is so clearly fantasy, and it is very obviously not the way magic actually works in the real world. Lord of the Rings has a wizard in it too, yet no one seems to get as upset about that.

"Wherever your heart is, there your treasure will be" Love is more empowering than hate, revenge, etc. The fourth book, is my favorite, especially when Harry learns of the why he was forced to compete in the Tournament...Priori Incantatem? I think it's called....it was the 'behind the scenes' story basically. For us, walking by faith, we don't know the why until years later. 1 Corinthians 13:12 ~ "For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. I agree that as Christians, we should focus on things that glorify God, although there are things that aren’t made to glorify God or to curse Him that I think are fine to watch. I also think God’s ok with us enjoying things that other people make, even when the main point isn’t Him, if it’s not harmful to the spirit of course. I've known Jesus for 41 years, know the Bible and have seen many "Jesus" portrayals. The Chosen is my all time favorite portrayal of Jesus, disciples. I've watched 5 times. And could watch again.

The Umbrella Academy.... because of this show, I allowed 3 demons to come into my room, and had to anoint everything in my room. I had felt the conviction of Ha Ruach Ha Kodesh (the Holy Spirit), but watched it anyways. If I didn't cover myself and ask Abba (God) for protection, those spirits/demons would have attached themselves onto me. Please remember that your eyes, ears and mouth are the gates to your soul. The enemy is the prince of this world, and he can control whatever is on it. You have be careful what you are feeding to the soul. Just because you may like a show doesn't make it okay to watch it. It literally grieves Abba and the Holy Spirit to see you opening these doors. Once you open a door, no matter if it's a little crack, the enemy WILL take that opportunity to come in and attack you. After this experience, I've completely boycotted tv and have only recently started watching Christian movies that Abba allows me to watch. Protect your soul and keep those gates closed to the enemy!!

Victoria Victoria The entire series revolves around the end of the world. In the show, there was one night where a bunch of women all over the world spontaneously became pregnant and the children all had different super powers. This rich man adopted 7 of them I think and formed a super hero group. They all grew up and went their separate ways. In the second season, one of them forms a cult and a bunch of people started worshipping him. The guy who formed the cult... his super powers consist of him using dead people to like attack others... idk. There’s a lot of violence and a couple homosexual affairs throughout the series. The entire series is very demonic and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I generally watch mostly “older” movies (like early 2000s-2010s). Movies that have a good theme or moral of the story actually really benefit me as a person, and some are just clean and entertaining. Some movies that I like are: Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Interstellar, The Help, The Sound of Music, La La Land, Risen, the Gospel of John, and Children of Men. As a more traditional person, I don’t really enjoy most modern movies. I wish they would come out with more movies that don’t include a bunch of sex scenes and stuff. It’s just not even entertaining in my opinion.

Not defending it, but her saying cartoon children, of course they are. But they’re cartoon teenagers and the writers made it to be a puberty show with teenagers having sex. Neverrrrrr watch Euphoria, I did not intend to watch it on my own but ended up watching it with my Niece and I regret it. The images will stick with you. Also, don't give away your spiritualistic material, burn in or throw it away. I don't recommend gifting something that is offensive to God to someone else to fall and be led stay by. On another note, I grew up watching horror/spiritual shows so I've always been fascinated and I still have the urge. It's definitely something God has to continue to work out of me.
