Lovely relaxing and cosy weekend! When you next come to the UK you should definitely pick up some Jaffa Cakes. They're similar to the biscuits your mother gifted you - sponge + orange jelly + chocolate topping. Very yummy.

You have more self-control than I do with chocolate; I melt chocolate chips in my steel-cut oats, add yogurt, fruit, & nuts. Good for you for prioritizing close/deep reading! I’m not into BookTube channels that embracing quantity over quality; I think they’re skimming, reducing retention & comprehension. Does Zeus’ fur get even thicker in the winter months?

I just love Zeus, what kind of cat is he? I'm reading His dark materials , the first book is compass and I'm about 1/2 way through. I love the idea that your mother had for you, I think that's great and I should do that for my daughter.
