Absolutely agree. The scenes where she "wherever I am, Im the highest ranking officer" was so difficult to watch.

Couldn’t agree more. Her angry yelling and disrespect toward every other military organization is both unrealistic and basically ruins what was a great show.

That’s one thing I don’t like about her character, she’s always pissed off and it gets annoying

I feel like she’s dealing with wanting to be home and safe to be with her family but having a job that puts her in danger. After her daughter’s auto accident she seemed to change around that point. In my head it makes sense 😇😂🤣

I think that Jo is on her way to having a breakdown as part of the story arc, and that's why she's so volatile now. The stuff with the QRF team raises an eyebrow though because all of those guys are former Team guys, and you don't get through that training without being a team player. I'm still intrigued by where this show is going to go.

it's a setup for a mental breakdown. if you've seen the newest episode, joe was looking for a way out and to be with her family.

Seriously, and it's not just Joe. Dr. Neal just storming out in the middle of surgery, DEA mole guy having entire conversations with Kyle and Joe through grunts and growls, the QRF shitting all over each other constantly. At this point I'm halfway expecting a subplot where one of the kids punches a hole in the wall because her cellphone dies or something.

Yeah and then that conversation with her boss about Cruz basically brought up her last season plan to work from the desk and be home… she brought up Cruz replacing her and Kidman basically said she sees Joe as a soldier in the field and in charge. But its not sounding like she’s gonna let her work in the office like her

Taylor Sheridan’s writing

Came out of nowhere to me. But with Jo's husband having a hard time at work I kinda sense some bad family stuff coming up.

What has they done with Jo’s character? I loved season one loved it. all of the characters even their almost sociopathic personality traits but this season they’ve turned Jo into a one note hothead character and her anger is one note- yelling, it’s not even nuanced anger delivered with a variety of manipulative tactics. It’s just yelling and we’re too far into the season for there to be a character arc. So I can’t imagine it’s a choice that serves the story.

Taylor’s roid rage seeped into the writing

The cringe is shocking with this. Like the writing is just pathetic. So much worse than last season’s trash

This show is trash. How is season 2 SO much worse than season 1? Such a waste of Nicole Kidman and the few mins of Morgan Freeman. They made Zoe Saldana absolutely insufferable with some of her worst acting, and these weirdos keeps showing random butt shots of her. It’s also a waste of Michael Kelly who is really the only one serious or remotely believable in this hot mess. I gave it 2 episodes and am noping out. Mayor of Kingston was so good, how tf does Taylor Sheridan shit the bed this badly with such a good cast (on paper)?!

I don’t understand it at all. All these sidetrack storylines that don’t go anywhere. I don’t understand what the actual mission is that they’ve recruited the helicopter pilot lady for? It keeps getting pushed to the side and there was that really interesting and devastating surgery that Joe’s husband went through and I thought that was going to have some repercussions or some value in his relationship with her, but it just dropped. It’s like a whole bunch of writers in different places sent in potential story concepts and they and then patched them all together. If it was a soap opera with a never-ending season, it would be fine because you would know that eventually all of these things were going to weave into each other or wrap up, but knowing these are micro- seasons…you realize there’s never going to be an answer and it just feels like chaos.
