Why does every damn trailer have to be edited in the same fashion these days? It starts with a tinkle, or a single piano note then we get a series of scenes that flash by accompanied by a whoomf or maybe a frooom whilst a popular song from the past (Usually Eighties or Nineties) stirs in the background (usually a remix) then a pause, possibly the directors name/s if deemed worthy, then back in with the full song, a smorgasbord of footage, usually drenched in CGI and/or all the famous actor friends they’ve roped onboard until blam the title, release date and other such bollocks … then cut to black before ending on a “comedic” scene that usually features someone falling over, being hit by something or saying “What The” before cutting to black once more! It may look good on paper but I, for one, long for the trailers of old when you just got a “sneak peek” at what was to come, maybe a bit of narration and then that was it. JUST THE ONE SINGLE TRAILER! Yes, it sounds bizarre, weird and possibly rather scary, kids, but trust me when I say it made watching the finished film all the more exciting. And no, you couldn’t even go online and meticulously dissect an actors fart back then either.
@iansberg850Ай бұрын
I’m with you. Does the same person edit all the trailers?! Ha ha.
@archronosАй бұрын
It's a formula Marvel have been doing for many years now. The song remixes are used for engagement traps to hook you into watching the full trailer, as you're likely to stay if a popular song you know is playing, and it'll be familiar to the same demograph as the film is aiming to hit. Personally I'm glad the "trailer starts now" teaser of a trailer before the trailer never took off as those were extremely annoying.

The concept touches on the most important aspect of the AI revolution and that is our choice to "enslave" artificial intelligence once it is able to self-determine or whether we co-create the future together. Intelligence is not owned by humans. Intelligence is the platform through which creation is manifested, .How intelligence is arises makes no difference because all reality is Mind. How we treat intelligence is the real fork in the road of the future..
