@@toojack9346 Wow that presupposes a whole lot of stuff not in evidence. "Actively blocking GM," you sure about that? Or is it American conspiracy theory paranoia? Uh. (holds hand up) That was my advantage, especially in the rain. I ran against a lot of the big three (Fast Guys, Rich Guys, and Idiots - go read the book, its great) and there was always the last two who could afford an engine with a million horsepower that would blow past you on a straight like you were parked. But the first corner, they'd either fly straight off like a 737, or drop to 30 mph trying to get around. The real racers could go around the corners fast. Nothing new at all in Pitt's story here, clearly stating the obvious. that right there tells you it is going to be a flashy, exciting story with great camera and CGI work that is as dumb as a bag of rocks.

I cannot believe this is the quality of dialogue they are "teasing" with. Anyone vaguely interested in car racing knows there are rules that apply to all teams. If the Pitt sound bite is about somehow risking a design with iffy structural integrity, or creating a car that has extra protection to make contact with other cars in curves, then I do not see what the 300+ million the movie supposedly cost were spent on. No one in F1 racing would take that kind of chance, unless he is Flavio Briatore, who just came back after a 10-year ban.

Getting hints of obligatory sappy love story included? Yawn. It's ok to have a woman in a film who isn't romantically involved with the main character, you know! Just let her do her job...

I like the way Brad samples the grass like he is going for a game of golf after shooting.

It would have to be an actual story centered around F1 to really be any good. But I'll definitely go and see this.

So, wikipedia says all 10 F1 teams and the real drivers appear in this film. If this team is the "Expensify Grand Prix Team does that mean F1 adds an 11th team in this film's story????

I am a proud Brit, and this is a great track… iconic in fact! Who doesn’t love Queen? But this track doesn’t work with this trailer AT ALL! Yes it’s a timeless reference but it is now overused, outdated and everywhere. What this trailer needed was more RAGE, something more contemporary, so I would have gone with ‘show me how to live’ by Audioslave, the final chorus when Chris Cornell takes flight is exactly what was needed here! As the famous British philosopher John Lydon once said: “Anger is an energy” He was right… so don’t be scared, embrace it! 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸

Agree, this movie looks like it's behind the times. Still, the oldies in America might like it.
