I actually respect Joe for becoming Deaky. Deaky is the most quiet and obscured member of the band, making it hard to find footage, unlike Freddie the showman and also cuts himself completely from any scene, making no first-hand information sharing, like those coming from Rog and Bri. The fact this guy said white queen (almost the most obscure queen song ever, a live version no less) tells me how much this movie and this band’s music means to them. This film was great, easily the best rock n roll movie ever. One thing i loves the most is how accurate it was to the real life story of queen. Hopefully this sparks a new wave of great rock n roll movies that can be fun, engaging, and insightful without having to rely on the “rock mythology” or other fiction that so many other film tend to do, looking at you The Doors with Val Kilmer.
