finally got around to going through the footage from my move to Arizona. was putting it off for a bit because it's kinda heavy to go through all of the videos now that i'm starting to feel better.

If you plan on doing a lot of driving with that trailer, I would highly recommend a Tire Pressure Monitoring System if its in your budget. You can get them at about any price but we use it on our LQ to drive cross country every summer and it's a lifesaver especially in the summer months when your tires tend to heat up. I have a friend who could be considered your doppelganger. Ha. She doesnt have a bison ....at the moment....but she has 3 appaloosa mules , 3 dogs and a cat and is as gypsy as can be . She also has suffered some head bumps and bangs. The toughest woman ive ever known. I shared your channel with her. I bet she finds it comforting to know theres a member of her tribe out there keeping it alive!!! Love your journey.

Hey, just wanted to inform you that bison are very social herd animals. They can actually become very stressed without at least a couple friends of the same species around, even some cases of lone bison becoming ill or depressed. Just thought I'd let you know; once you're fully settled in your new lot, you might want to consider adopting a couple more bison for your little one.

I have to say, allowing yourself to feel, especially when you’ve subconsciously worked your every waking second to avoid those tears, is probably the most difficult thing in the world. It seems so menial and unimportant when speaking it, but it’s the most important. Approaching my 4th decade on this earth and I STILL can’t, and I mean can’t (it’s the reason I have permanent lines of resting B face 😂) shed a single tear for ANYTHING. Except a good song or film. Just remember that those tears are literal rewards in life. It’s means you’re alive and have many things that are moving.

Just saw the story about Lucy from the Dodo and wandered over here to catch up. A tough journey but you made it! My family did a cross country move coast to coast and while we only had a dog and two small kids, we were also in separate cars and both towing. This was the first time really towing for me and I got the 28’ travel trailer in my husband’s giant truck (long story like yours with issues in the cargo trailer). It was hard even with someone driving alongside me and only having our small group and I can’t imagine the additional aspect of the horses and bison while on my own. We also had to manage 350 miles a day as our move was relocation and required that minimum. It is one thing if it is just you in a car doing a road trip but add all the other stuff, it is exhausting! That relief though is so refreshing though. I’m also taking notes from you since if I ever have to move again, I’ve got three donkeys to take with this time. 😂

girl you’re one of my biggest role models. not only are you extremely strong and doing badass shit that a small amount of people could do especially alone but you’re real and not afraid to document all the emotions and hurt that come with living lifestyles that require so much. i dream to be able to do the things you do and be able to be as self sufficient. not only am i rooting for you and proud of you but i wish i could meet you or go back and time and make sure i have a sister like you (ik that sounds stupid but it’s something i’ve longed for and i hope i’ll get someday even though it has to be chosen family) i’m 18 and i got the privilege of being born in Jackson Hole Wyo and being exposed to all these lifestyles that shaped who i am, my mom moved us to colorado and since i was born having the finances for this kind of life wasn’t reality. being a “horse girl” with a broken family, not much money and no property for horses it makes things so much more complicated and difficult, im always envious of people who aren’t only born into the equestrian world but born with everything handed to them on top of it which i’m really trying to work through. my upbringing makes me want it more, i have that fire under me because i won’t settle for anything less than the passions that feed my soul. your videos really help me settle into the fact that doing hard things like this is possible and it will teach me so many things and make me so much stronger along the way so, thank you. just thank you. keep going🤍

Emmie, u r so amazing, I am in awe of yr strength and hard work, and love and care for yr animals. I too am a horse woman, pushed cattle with the Blackfeet in Montana twice, owned a beautiful rescue chestnut mare (Arab), even did some cattle sorting clinics with her. She unfortunately passed from colic while we were riding trails at O'Grady. Been very broken myself, I have been riding a 16.2 TW, big boy, alot of 3 day dry camp trips with backcountry horse women group out of Enumclaw Washington, but have taken the past year off to regroup, soI totally connected with this last video. I would love to be on an adventure such as yrs, I love the outdoors, hard work and the horseworld. I would love to send you a starbucks card😊... ps I spent alot of $ at Tractor Supply, for 4 years I have been helping a senior with her 7 horses cleaning her barns, working her horses, maintenance, and hauling feed, shavings etc. I no longer am doing that and am looking forward to my next adventure, dang u r bad ass, so inspired! So I got bucked of and broke my back 2017. Didn't ride for 7 months but started my new filly in 2020. Give yourself time to heal. The anxiety is hard and I cried tons and got off lots and walked till I felt i could get back on. You'll be OK.

Fairgrounds it looks like mostly. A lot of them have rental spaces, just like campgrounds for people. But, the one she showed the pricing on was so cheap, she's lucky
