I have been in contact with Mr. Hasker and other members of Hedera. They need memetic energy to push their competitive advantage in a fun and interactive way, similar to what content creators like LinkAnon and Chainlink Tonight did for Chainlink early on. I would love to try to contribute to such an endeavor to instigate an organic community in the unique and effective way that Chainlink’s community manifested.

They are on a path to true decentralization. They are pretty decentralized currently but they will be even more by year end after they allow community nodes.

my understanding of hedara is that it is centralized like a data center. so if the data center gets hacked then your data could possibly be compromised.

Right now, you'd have to simultaneously "hack" more than 8 nodes each run by some of the largest, most well known companies in the world in order to compromise the network. Hedera is not a centralized data center - it is a distributed network built on consensus. It is by FAR the most secure network, and will only become more secure as more governing nodes are added and community staking goes live.
