Moving company dumps load of furniture on L.A.'s Skid Row

A moving company crew dumped a truckload of furniture and appliances on Los Angeles' blighted Skid Row overnight, giving the items away to anyone who could carry them. KTLA's Rachel Menitoff reports. July 3, 2024.

Because a lot of people are financially benefiting the longer people are homeless and the more people become homeless. The affordable housing complex industry is manipulating our society so that there is a huge demand for state-sponsored, taxpayer funded housing. Nonprofits, partners, and government agencies not only benefit from high salaries and retirements but act as a hub for profitable vendors in the homeless services industry.

It appears this was at the location of the union rescue mission. This just created a nuisance and more blight for them. It appears that their building is very tidy and they are trying to keep the area nice. They don’t deserve this. It was also very rude and undignified. This was not a donation, it was purely a dump. The City Attorney needs to prosecute the moving company.

I like that people donate directly because by the time it goes through all these agencies very little of it makes it to the street. I think this was extremely humane to do so those people could find at least a tiny smidgen amount of comfort within their living on survival level 365 days a year.
