It's definitely brand new, all the paint is still on the loader bucket! I agree with you on turning those hydraulic hose elbows. It will take a bend out of the hoses and give them more freedom of movement and they will probably last longer because they won't flex so much.

Scott, my 3005 has its loader hose routed exactly like they had yours. Only difference, about at the halfway point of the stationary lower boom, on yours there is a pin with a hairclip holding it. Mine has this same pin, but on the inside is a very substantial "wire tie", securing the hose bundle away from the engine shroud & hood. Altogether, mine has 3 of these wire ties, anchored to heavy "L" brackets, securing the bundle in place. Sounds like somebody rushed dealer prep- huh.....

Its hard for me to believe that you got a frost so much earlier than me. I'm in nc and my bermudagrass is still fairly green. I'm not trying to tell you how to use your tractor, but ive had a few hydrostatic deeres and you really need to run them at wide open throttle. The hydraulics are made to be ran at full pressure and flow and that's only achieved at full pto rpm.

Thats typical, buy something new and have to work on it lol. A friend of mine bought a t4.95 New Holland in 2014 and I don't think they tightened up anything when it was assembled all sorts of parts was falling off after a few hrs including a wheel! the front planetarys broke I think 5 times, 2 one side, 3 the other before they resolved the problem said something inside was coming loose and it would lock the front wheel up and destroy the planetary and it would be in the shop for over a month each time. so the first 1000 hrs was not very good lol. He has over 2000 on it now and its been doing ok after they got the bugs worked out. However New Hollands parts availability is horrible. I have a video of it on my channel, Its T4 95 new holland pushing up tree, if you wanna check it out. We tested it out pretty good that day. lol

How deep was that drainage ditch? Did you get down in the ditch to do the video?
@NorthTexasHay7 жыл бұрын
+Bernie Watts 6 ft deep at the deepest, then tapers to 3 feet. Yes, I was walking the ditch
@berniewatts75987 жыл бұрын
OK so don't take this wrong I am not a troll. I love your videos, but having worked in the construction safety business for 32 years, getting into a ditch over four feet in depth is very dangerous. Most people do not realize the force a bank cave in has on a body even if your head is out of the dirt. The force can often times break bones and even crush chests causing death before being rescued. Again I am not criticizing just pointing out what I have seen and having investigated cave in accidents as well as related fatalities.
@NorthTexasHay7 жыл бұрын
+Bernie Watts yeah it's not something I want to stand in but I've dug quit a few ditches out there and have never had one cave. It's about 1/1/2 ft of sand then some pretty hard clay. It was on my mind but I felt pretty good about it. What I should have done is put the camera on the tripod and held it in the ditch. I appreciate your comment and in the future I will do it different.

+TheEric1066 it is a 550. It's been a great truck except for the EGT valve goes bad about every other year and the turbo tube has blown a couple of times which is an easy fix at $145. I would buy another one if I needed to.

North Texas Hay nice, we have a 2017 f-550 as our service truck. I figured that was what you had. The egr are always going to be trouble I think because it’s a great money making scheme haha. I had it on my 2009 Peterbilt that I hauled corn with in a hopper. But I thank you for your response and we’re going to try and replicate your rake baler combo for our operation here in the near future. I think that’s a pretty slick setup.

Ridin' Green I'm glad your happy with yours and I hope Scott is with his, or his das...im just stating facts the tractor is built by Myanmar and assembly is done by Deere, and it does have a Myanmar motor and tranny which is not very reliable....i love green my favorite color and tractors, when it is truly a Deere, but anymore I run kubota...nothing as reliable from 170 horse down...and in Tennessee or Illinois people won't give you a plug nickel for a Myanmar deere....its just a fact, sorry if you don't like it
