Number 7 is epic. I’ve experienced that so much. When I started driving in Nigeria, they asked me if I thought my horn would finish. Lmao.

i am a minnesotan who moved to egypt. it was hard for me to get use to the sound of the horns. it took like 6 years for me to get use to it. there is so much i miss about minnesota.. i am not sure if you experienced this but in minnesota we do communicate from our car, but its with our hand. LOL while holding the wheel . even if you dont know the person . you put one finger or maybe your whole hand or a few fingers LOL and wave. you see this alot in the country . Thank you for sharing your experience ..

Thank you for sharing too. I haven't noticed the hand gestures in Minnesota while driving. I will pay more attention from now. Have you visited Minnesota since you left?

@@NeneFolorunso nope i haven't.. its been 5 years this time being away from Minnesota . i love the nature and animals, the fishing, ice fishing all of that. i miss it. so its great to see others enjoying it! have you seen? www.pbs.org/video/tpt-documentaries-how-talk-minnesotan/ (its a video of how to take Minnesotan its a joke, but its really real lol .) i sometimes think i should give this to non Minnesotans so they can understand me LOL interestingly enough there is so much cultural behavior from the Swedish immigrants and native .. really influence how we talk and interact with one another .

I wish I can comment on every pointer, but as for no. 6, that waiter and bill part is quite changing in Naij. They waiter actually now gives the bill to whoever asks. As for the noise part, this is my main reason I want to leave this country 😭😭😭

I am happy that is changing. It was so annoying. The noise is epic though😂😂. Infact when it gets quiet you begin to worry. 😀

How is it like living in Minnesota? My biggest concern is the cold weather, how is your experience like, are there a lot of Nigerians there?
@NeneFolorunso

Living in Minnesota is ok. I like that it is a bit laid back. Like you mentioned, it can be extremely cold in the winter but the summer is actually quite warm and beautiful. The standard of living is also high. I would say the Nigerian community is sizeable but it cannot be compared in any way to the size of the Nigerian community in New York, Texas or Atlanta. Besides the cold and snow, I like it here.

The instructor asked me to honk my horn at the start of my driving test and I looked at him like "I thought y'all weren't allowed to trick us into failing"...that's just how odd it was
