Gene, thank you for posting this video. I can hardly wait to move to Panama. Your video Is very encouraging and has great information. I’ve also traveled to Mexico for many years and love the people there, but I’m so thankful I ran across Panama relocation tours because now I plan to move to Panama.

Thank You Jackie & Gene!! Wonderful hearing of Gene's experiences moving from US to Panama. wow, sounds like JUST having SS is enough. I wonder if I could retire now? I'd want a garden to grow veggies like Daniel Davies(previous video) does with his greenhouse...NOT on that scale though. Thanks Gene for mentioning buying a car as well. I was surprised at how easy it sounds. THANKS AGAIN!!

Thank you for sharing your experience. For sure, nobody can live off of social security in the U.S. anymore. And I like how you said that you can not only exist by it in Panama, but actually have a life of leisure with peace of mind and in a nice neighbourhood without feeling like you are barely scraping by. Like it's as though you found that elusive "American Dream" ... in Panama.

Here's your calendar reminder. lol As of tomorrow, you can travel to Panama from the U.S.A. But you may need to be tested for covid, given that the U.S.A. has 20% of the world-wide deaths from covid, even though the U.S.A. only has 5% of the world population. So, to avoid that danger most countries are taking precautionary measures towards U.S travelers. That said, you'll be glad to know that Panama's infection rate is down to 0.69% per day and the mortality rate is at 0.32% per day. So you are much less likely to get infected in panama or die from the pandemic ,even if there is yet to be a good vaccine for it. Because, apparently, when it comes to managing the pandemic, Panama seems to have its act together and Panamanians in general so far have been taking the matter seriously.

Another point of reference is: My sister purchased a brand spanking new Mitsubishi Mirage from a dealership for $12,750. I forget how much she put down but her monthlies are at around $180. Insurance in Panama is much much less than in the U.S. too.
