I’m overwhelmed seeing you overwhelmed & not packed yet lol. I pack weeks in advance and label boxes on the outside with Sharpies -what’s in them, what room it goes to. Hello Alexis. I rarely follow this type of content or comment but I came across your channel maybe about a year ago after moving into my own studio apartment and I’ll casually put your videos on while looking for tips or inspiration when it comes to studio apartment stuff. Overall it’s been an interesting journey watching you share parts of your life and I just wanted to say the previous video showed a lot of vulnerability and maturity and it really connected with me. But also wanted to say congratulations on the new place. I completely understand when you say it’s not easy living alone at times and a small space definitely isn’t for everyone. love uprooting our lives just for the pure chaos 😌that ensues i always reuse my old boxes cause i'm so used to moving, my family just keep boxes from previous moves (recycling pros) me seeing the zipped ikea bags when i've always used trash bags to keep my clothes safe : ooh she fancy!

I’m watching this after the moving day video. Congratulations on your new place. You and Bennett will love having more space. I’ve moved many times and helped friends and family too. A friend had an actual gas leak when she moved to her new place so I’m glad yours was a false alarm. I can recommend having two boxes, one for cleaning supplies and the other for snacks and drinks. Also pack a bag like you’re going away for the weekend with clean clothes, toiletries etc. I’m looking forward to seeing your new place!

growing up, i lived across the street from an elementary and jr High school. when i was married to my ex husband, we lived behind an elementary school (shared fence). While it is loud, crazy traffic at drop off and pick up times, I find that sound so comforting and homey. but I totally understand the annoyance!
