Moving into my first solo apartment | Eugene to Portland in 1 day

Well this vlog was a bit of a roller coaster...today I take you guys along on official move out and move in day 2020 as I leave my college apartment in Eugene, OR behind and start to make a new home in Portland. I can't thank you guys enough for being apart of this journey. I feel so unbelievably lucky to read your wonderful comments, hear your stories, and take you along on this adventure. Here's to soaking up every second of every day (emo vibes and all). Love you guys.

Omg I could not stop crying whenever you guys cried! My best move was definitely when I moved into my final year university house; it somehow took no time at all, the weather was just right, and my bedroom decor was literally perfect!! Moving out of that house however was so stressful as I only had a one day window to drive to the city, pack up my whole house into my tiny car, and then drive back to my parent's house before covid lockdown officially started! I was ugly sobbing so much on the drive home that I had to pull over for a solid half hour to pull myself together. I was just so heartbroken to have not had the chance to say goodbye to my house, my housemate, my friends, the campus, and the city. But 5 months later I've definitely come to realise that yes my university life is over, but my memories, friends and the city are not going anywhere!! I'm so excited to see videos from your new apartment! Sending lots of love ❤️

I had to move out of my apartment and leave the country with under a day's notice due to corona. When I was done and packed I just sat on the floor and had a good cry. Saying goodbye to your home is always hard but we have to look forward to the new home we will get to create 😊 Wishing you all the best Kiara!

Best move way to where I live now, other than the truck broke down before we left (had to borrow my brothers). My worst one was when I moved home from Ottawa in 2015, moved out in less than 24 hours. The chaotic energy in this video is exactly what I needed.

Being forced to move out of my senior dorm apartment in an hour block in April was the saddest move out. We were rushed, nothing was packed beforehand, and we had to be in and out. I cried when I threw my bins of four years in the trash and a random mon patted my back because she felt bad.

I think my best move was moving back home from Corvallis! I was happy to get out of my hot third floor apartment and away from my old roommates - and getting to move back home to start working on my Master's wasn't too bad. Plus, I get to do a lot of decluttering and organizing! :) Great video!
