Moving Our Classic Cars: Camaro, Fairlane, Mustang, Falcon - Oh My!

When you need to do something and have to do something else to do it. We move our 1970 Camaro in to the shop but not without moving the 1967 Mustang, 1966 Falcon and 1969 Fairlane.

We have talked about doing that. And what I happened when I rebilt the carburetor on that one would have been an absolutely hilarious episode because when I rebuilt it, I left the venturi out of the center of the carburetor. For some reason, it wouldn't run...

I feel your pain! Since I'm usually moving things by myself, I too got a cheap Harbor Freight winch. I bolted it to a section of 2x10, and then bolt that to the floor. I have strategically placed bolt anchors in the concrete at different locations. It makes life a lot easier.

As someone with a 71 Camaro, I’m stoked for this! I love the Ford stuff too, as I had a Gran Torino as a teen and my dad had a series of Ford trucks so it’s a blast from the past.

One thing I installed in my garage was a floor winch. Best thing I ever did.

I think I'm going to make bolt locations around the shop so that I can use my boat winch to bring cars in if I'm by myself. I have injured myself at least once pushing cars in alone.
