It didn't get cut short, you still get to finish your classes. You miss the EXPERIENCE of drinking, ,"missing" spring break, socializing. You don't miss the MOST important reason about college which is YOUR EDUCATION. Your education isn't getting taken from you. You'll be fine without drinking and socializing with your friends until next year.

You missing college has NOTHING to do with you making genuine connections with professors in a seated environment, befriending people of all different ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, economic statuses, personalities from all around the world, being heavily involved in a sorority that you consistently dedicate hours to in order to raise tens of thousands of dollars for a local and in-need philanthropy, setting aside hours in your week in order to be of service to shelters and harvest-programs, finding yourself and your purpose amidst chaos and recognizing that you’re fortunate to have the opportunities you had/have and attempting to make a difference in the world. How selfish of you to “miss” this “experience”! The MOST important thing is your NUMBER rank and your LETTER grade! Not the actual LESSONS that you learn WHILE getting a DEGREE inside AND outside the classroom!

I did go to a JUNIOR college (community college) which I have my ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE (and no student loan debt) from, that had the full experience: parties, sports (including national qualifying football, volleyball, and softball teams) dances, events, etc. Now, I attend a four-year state college where I am getting my Bachelor's degree on top of TWO minors. I have experienced BOTH things and this is my own opinion. But yes, it TOTALLY *sarcasm* was my community college professors. Think a little harder next time before you try to insult people that have saved a shit ton of money and still got the full college experience. Going to a CC can be the same experience as a four-year college minus the $60,000+ debt you'll be in before you graduate ;) I suggest you research community colleges before you try to insult me or anyone that went to a JUNIOR college because in my third year of college I only have $8,000 in loans where you probably have $50,000 in debt JUST from taking your generals. :) Check your facts before you try coming at me saying community colleges are a bad choice. ;)
