It's not real time travel, if you can't go beyond the frame. Which brings me to the overall plot of that episode. How could Rimmer actually reach his younger self in the bedroom from a photograph? Unless the photo was taken from a straight shot of the kid's bed, like a straight line from the camera to the bedroom, no corners, no corridors.

Fun fact the two skiers originally had dialog but Craig Charles who plays Lister realized it was a continuity error because they wouldn't have gotten Lister's photos before the ski trip photos were taken.

3:10 As this is from the remastered version cuz of that added explosion effect, how come BBC Comedy Greats uploaded these clips in the original 4:3 full screen aspect ratio? On The Bodysnatcher Collection DVD, the remastered series were released in the "widescreen" versions as first shown on BBC2 for Red Dwarf's 10th anniversary as well as VHS.
