Moving Sucks.

But somebody has to do it!
My wife and i recently went through a really stressful move. I found myself overwhelmed and overworked and wishing i could afford to hire help. When we finally got to our new rental house I decided to put my energy into making sure other people don't have to feel like i did. Now i am apart of a group of hard working guys who come in and making moving suck a lot less.

From a retired truck driver...DON'T JUMP OFF THE TRUCK LIKE THAT! It will seriously fuvk up your knees. If not sooner then later. Many drivers painfully suffer from the abuse they put their knees through by jumping off the steps, trailers and platforms. Protect your knees.

I did that and my knee locked up and I couldn't move it! It took months before I could walk somewhat properly.

Take it from me, knee replacements are THE #1 most painful of any joint replacements in the body. I did both at the same time, because having been a nurse my entire career life, I knew I wouldn’t go back a second time, and mine were both bone on bone by age 49. The surgical recovery is pure hell, and PT was no fun either. Total recovery time really lasts a year, but the first 3 months are a lot of work. Everyone needs to be nice to your knees!

Congratulations! Living on the East Coast, we finally got out to Seattle/And Oregon, Astoria (the goonies, we got to see it all) We took 2 weeks and the Haystacks at Cannon beach, PNW is very beautiful & the best part we hadn't see our son in nearly two years that lives out there and it was one of the BEST vacations we ever had! Good, honest work, and you get to see more countryside - my favorite part was the side stop with that river - wow! Love the camaraderie you guys have. Hang tough. This is only a stepping stone. As others have stated, do take care of your back and knees! I know in nursing it's very common for nurses to end up with long-term back issues, and your job entails heavy lifting, too, so please be careful.

That’s so hard to choose. But the one that stands out for me is the sense of adventure in the beginning. Where you are getting into the truck and I hear Electric Avenue.. You guys make it look so fun in this whole production. Moving is freaking hard work! ❤🚚 My parents were long haulers for United Van Lines. They started out in household when I was in high school. Then it was electronics from coast to coast.

You always bring your great attitude, openness of new experiences, and good heart with you no matter what you are doing, Josh. I'm sure your new work company is appreciating that a ton. It's cool they put you up in the B&B and provided a decent food allowance for ya. It was nice that they let you film the video...great exposure for them. Now they need to pay you to film their next commercial. 😊 Loved your scenic pit stop! Oregon is so gorgeous. The B&B filming was fun, especially with the scary elements highlighted. (& my 140-year-old home gas a similar toilet in the corner in the cement basement, exposed ceiling and wires and even a plain shower head near that toilet...now, THAT'S scary). Someday, you need to do a video about your love of Bob Ross and why he pops up, in an adorable way, seemingly in every video. That segment where views turned into moving paintings was Awesome...was that an app?)
