How is the life in general in WA? Is it very isolated and are there Indians living in close proximity ?
@athulyanair Жыл бұрын
Not really! Yes there are a lot of suburbs dominated by just Indians, and we do celebrate Diwali (fair and fireworks) and other Inidian festivals. I’ll make a video on this theme soon. You may check out this video for a better idea: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rnSlk3ysg5l6fc0

Any reason why you chose Perth out of other famous Australian cities?
@athulyanair Жыл бұрын
Yes, my partner is based out of Perth, that’s the main reason. WA is better for manufacturing/mining companies and my partner has Mechanical Engineering background. Secondly, cost of living in Perth is lesser compared to Melbourne and Sydney, and at the same time you can enjoy similar standards of living. Companies pay the same (at least in my case, my position) for a particular post in all the cities.

@@athulyanair cool. any idea hows the scope for IT and about the indian communities in Perth - do you see more people or very less?

@@vive928 There are a lot of Indians. I work in IT, and these days more people are moving here from the East as well!

@@athulyanair thanks for prompt rly Athulya.. right now workin in Singapore.. looking to move some time... Matter of time.. let's see . Why do people move from East to Perth? I thought Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are hotspots for migration

People have their own reasons. One of them is to get the PR/Citizenship faster as Perth is considered to be a regional place. Another reason I would say is properties, you can buy a bigger, prettier home closer to the city at a cheaper price than the cities in the east, like Melbourne and Sydney. And, a lot of people would rather live in a place which is less crowded, more peaceful. In short, there are a lot of reasons.
