Hills, well for time they go green, but our summers are on the dry side, we do get rain, regularly, but still can get dry.
@Veyron64011 жыл бұрын
They do spring time only though, honestly. Summers are dry here in the valley though. 4 Seasons, but dry. I mean we do get rain, quite a few times, but its still dry, compare say to Oregon. Im in middle of making another video of Idaho, it will cover summer/ spring.

Sweet clip! I wish it were 100 degrees for only a week. Summer gets more like a month of 100's in Boise. Still love it here, though!

Kuna, 30min from DT Boise, u can find descent houses below 100K, same you can find Nampa has not bad prices as well. Good place to live Is like Meridian, and SE Boise. Meridian and North Boise, can be expensive, some region there very expensive. There are new developments going on towards Lucky Peak, along Warm's Springs ave.

Nice video leveling software dude! Too bad you didn't have some sort wind-screen on your mic or phone. We had to stop watching due to the wind noise.

we are thinking about moving there. However I was told if you are not Mormon, good look finding a job there.
@Veyron64010 жыл бұрын
You might be right, it is noticeable. I lived here in boise, over 7yrs. Depends where you want to work, yes that is true. Mormons are the dominant religion here. Scentsy - the smelly wax company. Their brand new headquarters are here in boise, well meridian. Yes, that place is ruled by mormons. And yes I did here, they will make your entry "test" miserable if they sense you are not a mormon. But, there other companies here and people work just fine, "move up". I had a buddy at Micron one time, he went from operator to lead and up to project management, and he is pure doctrin Christian. So, its if you know the law, and if you know how to play the "game", you can always get what you want. . There starting to be alot of Arab nationalities here, and slowly black folk start to increase. Cops in comparison, to Portland say,, are way better. Freeways are great here too. Well old locals will always gripe about rush hour traffic, the freeways are being increased in size, almost cali style, double lane offramps. Night, bars, alot of em. I swear I think Boise, is most likley the highest DUI busted city Nationwide. Boise, drinks alot, they drink more beer then tap water. Strip joints, HORRIBLE. I think Mormons stuck their fork in there. Every strip joint is lame, well in comparison to Cali or Oregon.
@Lululila6710 жыл бұрын
Veyron640 LOL. Wow there are strip joints there!? Thats actually pretty awesome for that state. I would've never guess that. At least the women have jobs! Thanks for all that info. I will run it past my Husband. Looks like there are several good cities to move to over there. I think the best bet would be to buy a house as opposed to renting. It looks really beautiful and most importantly "quiet". Here is cali its very loud in many neighborhoods with many people dealing with a rising latino population hence loud mariachi partys that go on for days. Also way too many people here in Cali now.

What about things like racial make up? Do you see any African Americans? Asians? Hispanics? Etc.
@Veyron6408 жыл бұрын
plenty of hispanics, especially of move to caldwell, not many asians, if we were to compare it places like Portland and Vancouver Blacks are slowly increasing,, More arabs, then blacks though.
@frankyrolon12018 жыл бұрын
there are lots of Spanish people usually Mexicans they are everywhere, no offence to anyone.(I'm spanish) there are more Asians that you would expect but there are people who still stair at them (my wife is chinese.)black not so much. in fact I herd that there was a ghetto black neighborhood back in the day but" it was made difficult for them by the city and eventually they moved".(not sure if it accurate) a very high population of indian and arab and it might grow since ID accepted refugees. over all a great place to live. I am originally from NYC and I plan on staying, I love it. another thing there is a lot of active & prior military members who live in boise & surrounding towns, which I believe makes the community a better place. ohh and one more thing umm boise is about 6 hrs away from salt lake city Utah, 12 from seattle, and 8 I think to Portland OR, and 16hr from cali. if you drive up north of Idaho it's beautiful, amazing lakes. Good luck

Randy R no. Sadly the state is 85% white. Corruption and drugs are rampant. Meth is the number one drug of choice in Idaho.
