If you have a decent paying job lined up you'll be fine. We moved from Southampton to Calgary three years ago. Finding a job was tough! But once you have a good job Calgary becomes an amazing place to live.

All is if you have a will. There is a way. Just jump in, then to survive one will definitely move the hands and legs to stay afloat. Take any job for a start that is got. Worst come, if one is willing, at least a salesman job could be got in some stores. First learn to survive, rest just follows. 😊❤

If there's a fully fledged airport in a city, you will find jobs related to aviation. There are plenty of aircraft rentals, manufacturers and even turbine/engine producers companies in and around Calgary/Airdrie area.

Bad areas are mostly in NE, but there are also some bad areas around 17th Ave / International Avenue. Forest Lawn is like a zombie land.

Avoid the North West (NW) and Downtown, some of the worst parts of the city. A lot of homeless and junkies.

Why work for others when you can work for yourself. Create your own job, start a youtube channel like Igor. You don''t even need much investment and is virtually risk free to start a youtube channel. In this day and age of the internet it is no excuse to be jobless.
