Norberis I have several reasons why I am making plans to move to Dominican Republic and you named several of them. Let first say that I am a United States Marine Corps veteran who is disabled due to my service and the country I defended doesn't resemble the country that I enlisted to defend. Maybe I was naive at 17 years old but I'm still proud of my service and proud to be American despite the messed up state of things. In my time in Santo Domingo este I never felt in danger unlike some places here in the United States like Philadelphia, Washington DC or Kansas City because in my opinion violent crime in Dominican Republic is almost nonexistent. Here in the United States I've always had to worry about someone saying something because my girlfriend or wife was black and how I would react to it. For example do I confront them or walk away, how would my ego handle it? Confronting someone I risk a lot, in ignoring them I give them power to do it to someone else. So I understand your husband but in a different way. One reason why I want to relocate is the climate, I live in Kansas City and I absolutely despise the winter and the cold. That might be tied with the reasons living more freely, the cultural of Dominican Republic and getting off the American rollercoaster of life. My last reason I appreciate how Dominican women treat men, nothing against American women but I don't like demanding but I appreciate being seduced into doing something. I know exactly what's happening but I get what I want and they get what they deserve because they take care of me. Not only do I think Dominican women are beautiful physically but they have a beautiful heart and attitude. In America the belief of if I take care of a man who will do anything for me, he will take of me and that in my opinion doesn't exist any longer. I like your videos please keep up the good work.

And the Dominican economy is not nearly as bad as people assume. It’s the strongest and fastest growing economy in the Caribbean and Latin America; 5% past 15 years per annum. Most people only travel to the poorer areas of the country so they make crazy assumptions. I just began the process of incorporating another company there, as I can assure you the profit margins compared to expenses are outrageously beautiful! Once you invest in the right startups and ideas of course.

@@NorberisR it costs more to start something in Santo Domingo in places like Piantini and Naco (the first location for this venture will be located in Naco), but the expenses compared to other places with the same demographics and spending power are minuscule. I think it was in 2017 your economy grew 9% that year. Crazy! Take a ride around Los Cacicazgos and along the Anacaona strip, you’ll see scores of luxury vehicles every minute and new towers popping up everywhere. So people are spending as if they’re in Miami. Excellent, informative video! You are going to make some people really consider this. Interestingly, I already knew that pretty much every reason you were going to list was on my list of reasons for moving to D.R. years ago. I'm not Dominican, but I feel more welcomed and at home in D.R. than in the U.S. My cost of living in South Florida for everything was roughly $5000 more per month than my cost of living in D.R. When I fell in love with your country, I knew I had to move and gain that sense of freedom, have a better quality of life, save money and simply get away from that same roller-coaster of daily life in the U.S. Best decision I could have made.

@@NorberisR When I made the move originally I lived in Santo Domingo, but that was too much of a rat race for me, too. I have breifly tried several other cities, too. But I eventually moved to San Cristobal where I live now. I'm in the process of building a home in Barahona now. I have not decided yet, but most likely I will use it as a vacation home for my family and run it as an AirBnB property the rest of the time since it's on the beach. The freedom to actually have a life style AND TO NOT live like a working machine robot or a copy machine doing the same thing every single day because of time/stress/ winter(cold)/...many things....because the DR is not the only place que ""tu pasa trabajo"" like some say....in the US you also experience that in many other different ways besides money or technology ..like you said ....it's a rollercoaster -you reminded me of soo many things, plus something my friend in dr says which is funny "" I'm not going to a different country to do what I refuse to do here in DR(cleaning toilets)""" LOL...I need to share your video with everyone ....the more updated videos like this that you make to clear up misconceptions the better education for everyone!! Everyone is career prepared differently, different goals, different perspectives and desired way to live. """"What's best for you is not what's best for me!!!!!!!!!""" It's not that I want to hear what I want to hear, is just that I know for a fact that there are soo many misconceptions that only a small percentage of dominicans know what you are talking about ...n the rest think coming to the US is a fairy tail like in many movies.

These are the same reasons my husband and I decided to stay in the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and cancel our green card application to move to the USA 🇺🇸. Also whether Americans want to come to terms with the current state of affairs in the US or not, the truth is that communism has official breached our national security at the highest levels of govt and life in the US is not the same. It is sad to admit this , but the Dominican state of affairs is actually MORE stable than in the USA. Facts! Also, amongst other reasons, my biracial family is better off staying in the DR for a better quality of life without my children being harassed because they are mixed race! Thanks for a another great video!

Interesting topic...as I’m going through the same thought process right now and for similar quantitative and qualitative reasons. I work from home and I’ve spent the past 7 months in the DR...and counting. I’m here right now in Puerto Plata. If I move here permanently, I can save easily $1300-$1500 per month, possibly more. There comes a point in life where peace of mind, happiness and the quality in which one lives outweighs money. Money does not buy happiness friends. Thank you for sharing.

In the usa I have been stoped by the police 2 moving violations. In the Dominican republic, I been stoped and harassed and shaken down for money by dominican police 29 times in 1 year. If only they could do something about police corruption. The dr police will not kill you like usa, but getting stopped could lead to serious unfounded charges. Also. My biggest issue with Dominicans I. The us,. None seem to be Patriotic, nor vote, nor join the military. They only seem to be interested in sending money home. This government gave immigrants a chance to participate in the American experience. Consider giving back to the norte america.

Sounds like a good plan 😊 I often think about moving or inventing in DR but one of mine hang up is I don't speak spanish even after living around my neighborhood of Latinos. I still haven't caught on to the spanish language only some little words but then I haven't taken the time to study the language 😂 being so busy with other day to day things like my online e-commerce business, trying to learn KZbin & watching YT, Learning Google, Window 10 etc. You see one of my weakness & strength I'm a retired senior citizen and a high school drop out that always had a side hustle 💰since I was a little girl. I agree 👍 with you if I can buy 🔙 time for quality of life, I would, I'm going to work on it that's for sure! Sorry for the long comment 🙄 that's why it's important for me to start my KZbin channel...I have a lot to talk about.
