Oh this has been fun to see ! I used to live in Lantana years ago ( 1996-1998) and really enjoyed Jupiter. I enjoyed quite a few dinners at a place called The Jetty , of course I have no idea if it’s still there, but yiu could see the light house all lit up at night while dining outside ! Love the old lighthouse and it’s colorful history!

I read a really neat historical book about the lighthouse, I think a lighthouse keepers kid wrote it. He wrote how after a big storm everyone went down to the beach to see what goodies washed ashore. He spoke of some wine casks /barrels had washed ashore & how many folk got good & drunk , and an Indian floated home while laying down in his dugout canoe. I’ve gotta try to find that book online. I gave my copy to a friend when I left the area, but I’d love to read it again.

Back in 1998, After we moved from Lantana to fort Pierce (north Hutchinson island) we lived right on the beach right on the st. Lucie & Indian River county line. The sea turtles would lay eggs on the beach right in front of the house! It was fascinating to see the tracks of the turtles coming out of the sea , where they laid their eggs , and their tracks back into the sea! A person came along & marked the spot & put a do not disturb the nest type of sign next to it ! I really appreciated how people were protecting these neat creatures! Oh how I miss Florida sometimes! In Colorado which is fabulous too, but there is no place quite like southern Florida to be sure!

Hey Bret thanks for watching. Well both of those cities tend to be on the higher side of rents because they're both beach towns, there are sections of both cities that are further out west which would affect your rental price but as a whole I think they're pretty much side by side for rental prices. if you need any help reach out to me and I'd be happy to assist.

Real estate is great if you have lots of listings or good supply of buyers with extra cash. Florida does have more Realtors than California does now and that's pretty hard when there's only so many clients. Other than that I always had a sales job and always found a sales job and I've lived here for 28 yrs and never went to college.

I am staying in NY we make MORE MONEY than you guys. And we too have some slamming beaches also. Rockaway Beach, Jones beach, Robert Moses, Point lookout. We also have the Hamptons etc....KEEP YOUR SWELTING HEAT IN THE SUMMER TIME
