Hello everyone, welcome back to the channel.
Today, we will share a regular day in our lives in our small town in Molise Italy.
It is late winter, it is still a bit cold, but the days are starting to be sunnier and a tiny bit warmer.
Today is kind of a slow day. We are not working much outside or on the house these days, as we are having to take care of many things remotely back in Australia and Aden has commenced to write a new book.
Come along with us. Hope you enjoy a video at a slower pace.

Oh wow, learning something new everyday, that is super cool that Aden is a writer what a perfect place to write in the attic with a view :) he is a man of all trades, he is also a chef, wow, lucky you, you got a chef making the food :) I love watching your daily life in Italy, so thank you for sharing, I love that you go and mingle with the local people, that little boy is supper cute and friendly and so is the store owner, that looks like a lovely community, I hope to visit that town one day. You are also a therapist, that is very special. Love your pets, they are super cute.

Another great video. Sooo many questions, like: 1) do you eat vegetables? 😉 and 2) does everyone want to drive and not walk? (or was it the fear of the cold and the Colpo D'aria? 😉😉) and 3) do Italians find it peculiar that you like to eat early? (I find it peculiar Italians want to eat very late 😆). Can you do a video on catching a bus to a big town or the seaside and back? To show it's possible?

I think it would be very helpful to those of us who want to move to your end of the pool to be helped with some actual Italiano- I’m taking the local/ non local bus to…. Look at those beautiful / windows/ doorways/ flowers! And when you speak Italian to locals, interpret what you’re saying! I think this would help me learn a little of the language as we go…. Love you guys!

But in the future I would like to rent a place in Italy and spend some time there . Maybe 3 months . My first idea it was Treviso , my grandpa was from there . But watching your videos , kind of want to spend some time there also . Good luck . Nice couple and pets . Just lost my cat last year and my dog this year. I miss them so much .

Assuming that your first language is Spanish, how easy/difficult was it to learn Italian? Italy is on me and my wife's short list for retirement outside the US. My wife is from Ecuador (hasn't lived there since 1993, when she was 18). She of course, speaks Spanish...as do I (former Army Linguist) we both also speak French (l a little rusty, though, as its been almost 20 years since we lived/posted to a French speaking country).
@rossinniandco
@rossinniandco Жыл бұрын
Hi MR. I studied Italian at Uni a while ago and that helps a lot with the grammar (I hope LOL) In saying that, speaking Spanish is a huge help as many verbs and words are the same, so even if you feel shy to speak you can understand a lot! Many people in our town also speak German, plus Arberesh which is an ancient language of the Albanian community. There are also at least 8 people who speak Spanish in this town. You guys will be fine 😉

Knowig Spanish helps with the accents and "sounds "of the language but Italian IS different. That said you should pick it up quite easily. Full immersion, lets say 6 months. Doesn't matter if you make mistakes, everyone is so helpful and understanding. All the best.
@norae3735
@norae3735 Жыл бұрын
I agree with Ann, it is different. Namely the grammar (Mi fa confondere!) I've been using an app for over a year now, in preparation for a potential move. Personally, I found it helpful to use the English/Italian setup vs. Spanish/Italian. Good luck!! 😃
