I-4 is not the only way into Lakeland, LOL. Hwy 60, 92, Knights Station Road. They didn’t tear those roads up when 1-4 was built.

Yes, but I-4 is horrible for traffic, for accidents and highway deaths. I-4 means problems and not just sometimes, but every day.

I-4 is clogged and dangerous, 570 is a toll road! So it is a toll road or I-4. Lakeland does not have many jobs. Lakeland is not a huge transportation hub, but orlando is. If you want to move to lakeland, you either could drive far for your job, are retired or you are moving to downtown where things are close, but homes are expensive. The cool thing about lakeland is that if you want more land you'll get it, if you want to drive about 30 minutes to be able to drive from one end to the other lakeland is perfect. Lakeland is not the only city around, you have haines city, winter haven and auburndale which is my favorite.

Ugh if you had asked me that about a year or two ago, I would have a great answer for you, but I’ve noticed lately just like everything else else. Lakeland is now getting pricey because people can’t afford Tampa anymore. It’s a vicious cycle I know.
