Milwaukee has a LOT of great companies, festivals, activities and very few neighborhoods I'd EVER want to live in. That being said, most of the suburbs of Milwaukee are FANTASTIC, especially when you get into lake country in western Waukesha county.

Hi Thank you for your input, I always enjoy visiting Milwaukee and love all the neighborhoods, I find all of them friendly, Recently visited a Hispanic Bakery and she gave me the Baked good " A little Piggy" because I didn't have cash on me!

@@wheretolivewisconsin I agree there are nice people in every neighborhood. There are also not so nice people. As a real estate agent with people on this video talking about moving to Milwaukee, you’d be doing people a disservice making everything seem great. My opinion is only my opinion: I don’t want to live in the city proper; BUT most areas (not all) are perfectly safe to live in.

I love Wisconsin! Was born in Milwaukee and grew up in the west suburbs of Chicago. I moved to Wisconsin back in 1986 at the age of 24. Zero opportunity for growth in Chicago, but gained a skill set in Wisconsin. Seven generations of family here. Actually, I remain in the same county as my ancestors of four generations. It’s a wonderful life here in Wisconsin.

@ More on Milwaukee. Our infrastructure is great, unlike most cities in the U.S. Wisconsin has that family vibe which is great to see and experience. Tons of fun and interesting things to do year round. Microsoft is breaking ground in Mount Pleasant for an AI manufacturing complex. There’s just so much opportunity for establishing your roots and growth and prosperity in Wisconsin.

Been in Milwaukee Metro area most of my life. Your comments are mostly accurate (Whitefish Bay is in Milwaukee County, not Waukesha:). It's a major league city with awesome entertainment year round including pro basketball/baseball along with great NCAA basketball at Marquette, plus all the festivals at Summerfest grounds. Lake Michigan is an excellent water source and year round world class fishery. Taxes and schools in suburbs tend to be more favorable. Crime not an big issue once you know the areas to avoid. With warming temps, winters don't compare to what they used to be. Just lean into it with proper clothing and enjoy all the outdoor winter activities - hiking, snowshoeing, XC skiing etc.
