Passive aggressive notes are the worst :/ I got one at my old place for my dogs barking too and I never found out who it was even after I sent out notes to my next door neighbors telling them to contact me if they had issues. Just keep your head up! It’s still an adjustment period and things will get better with time :)

You are doing great Tisha! I know exactly how you are feeling. I have been feeling like that myself. Like I have commented before I live in a studio in UES but I was just talking to a friend and I feel so discouraged because I have been living here for a while now and I am so ready for a 1 bedroom apartment, and it makes me sad to think that Idk when its going to happen, I just feel discouraged and like I have outgrown this place. Also, my downstairs neighbour came to leave me notes more than once when the issue wasn't even me, it was my next door neighbour, and she wouldnt believe me because the other girl would tell her it wasnt her (the issue was walking with heels late at night and when she came back at 4 am). I felt so bad because every time she would insist and be so passive aggressive with me. Anyways, I just want you to know that you are doing great and amazing things are waiting for you because you deserve it!

Your soap dispensers are too cute!!! ❤ You definitely need a rack of some sort for the kitchen and an air fryer…I just got one Black Friday and it changed my life!!! Thank you so much Jaime ♥️♥️♥️. Yes, it’s compatible. I have a docking station from work that is compatible with Dell (work laptop) and MacBook. I use that to connect to my monitor. I’ll check and get back on the docking station (not sure what kind it is). Girls night out was a lot of fun! So happy to finally dress up :). There are few recommendations in the comments section for jhaape - noise machine, 432 hertz music and CBD treats/food (consult with the vet). I’ll keep you posted on Jhaape’s progress. My therapist had recommended mental health walks and has been very helpful for my anxiety.

Hey, I moved in like exactly I think the same month as you! In February. It took my dog a while to get adjusted. I always say good-bye to my dog and let him know “I’ll be back” he’s a shitzu and 10 years old. I actually adopted a cat because my building also has rodent problems (NYC problems aka mice) so I thought a cat was the best option for me and to keep my dog company. My dog stopped barking and got used to his new home. Give your dog some time to get adjusted it’s not so easy to move to a new place. I hope you find a solution for your baby :)

You can buy a calming spray for your dog just spray around where he lays or there are calming bites he can eat do both before you leave him it takes awhile for a dog th get use to a new place it did my baby

They could’ve provided some details to help resolve the issue such as how long the barking goes on for and around what time. We won’t know if it’s truly excessive barking until you can observe the behavior once the cameras are up. I hope that once you’re both settled in and get into a routine where you engage in activities to help release stress that your dog will be able to feel more calm when home alone. I also recently moved in January and had to deal with deep cleaning a very dirty studio apartment and with roaches. I keep a small trash bin with a lid and throw out the trash everyday. I make sure to vacuum up any crumbs on the floor, etc. So far I haven’t seen any for a little over a month now. I bought rosemary essential and will make a mix so that I can spray around the edges of the apartment as maintenance. I read rosemary and peppermint acts as a repellent.

Don't worry about that note. Get a camera again and make sure your doggy is actually barking. It could be someone who is just jealous of you or has nothing else to do but try to make someone miserable. I just found your channel and I love how real you are. Hi Tisha, I enjoy watching your videos, I'm sorry you are having a tough time getting adjusted to your new lifestyle ( living alone) it will take some time for it to get to a normal level. Animals as well get affected. It will take Chapo some time also. I'm sorry the neighbors are complaining, but as a senior I can tell you it is upsetting to hear constant barking at different times of the day. I don't complain because I some neighbors are not as nice as you. I wish you would be my neighbor. We would get along so well. As a matter of fact, I would even dog sit if I was your neighbor. Nonetheless, maybe of you take chapo to a dog sitting place where he or she can be around other dogs, might help. Going out for walks also helps. The fact thst you work from home, makes it hard for chapo to get used to being alone in a new apartment while you go out for errands or to work when you have to go to the office. Also, might help if you can take chapo with you to some of the places you go to. That way he or she is not cooped up in the apartment for unending hours. I would be upset as well if I had to be cooped up and have nothing to keep me busy.

Hi Gina, I am so happy to hear that you enjoy watching the videos ♥️♥️♥️. It means a lot! Living alone has been a tough transition for both jhaape and I but eventually we will get used to the change. That’s a really kind offer 🐶🙏🏽. I am glad the neighbor left the note otherwise I would have never known about it. When I go to work, I drop jhaape off at my sister’s place in Jersey (we had decided to do this before we received the note). Its mainly when I have to do errands or go out for lunch/dinner/gym. I have been taking jhaape everywhere with me and avoiding any place where I can’t take him. I just installed the camera as well so I am planning to monitor him within the close proximity of my neighborhood. If he barks a lot, I can rush back home that way. As you mentioned, since I work from home, it will take him time to get used to the space alone.
