Moved here in 2021... love it here regardless of what people say. In just a short time of being here, I have seen it grow quite a bit and I hear more investors and businesses are planning to come up. Even the housing has gone way up compared to years past.

@@bernitup6492 yes. I have grown up here since 1984. Definitely have seen the growth. I love that they are bringing more employment opportunities for the locals here. Lots of businesses coming. House prices have increased. Thankfully we are still affordable compared to some cities down the hill. Great for families to buy their first home. It’s still an American Dream town. Now only if this Bright Line Train can hurry an be done already 🤣 With the train coming and the BIG project in Barstow, this town is on the map to have more businesses. I love it here too. It’s not for everyone and that’s ok. Yes there’s crime but that’s everywhere. Our local towns are doing what they can to hire more officers. I believe you can’t let people ruin things for you. I will definitely look past what some negative people have to say. The high desert is a beautiful place. There are more good people here than bad and that’s what matters. Together we can make it better! Thank you for taking the time to share.
